Best Rheumatoid Doctor by far!!
Dr. Grunbaum really cares about his patients. I have severe Rheumatoid and I am so difficult to help because of the medication doesn’t always work for me. He tries & tries until we find some relief for me Rheumatoid has decided to destroy my nerves . Lots of pain. Dr Grunbaum helped me go through some of the worst months, years of my life. He truly cares for people, listens, helps as much as he can.

Great Doctor
He listens to what you have to say and does not rush you. This was my first appointment and I will definitely do the follow up appointments. I was impressed that he wants to get to the bottom of the reason I am in so much pain. Another rheumatologist I went to told me to just learn to live with it and would not even try to find out what was causing the pain.

5 STARS
I have been a patient now for several years, and this entire practice is five star worthy. The easy to use portal with message capabilities, the ease of making appointments, the check-in and out processes, and last (and most importantly) Dr. Grunbaum himself, make GulfCoast Rheumatology the best! Dr. Grunbaum's kindness and, thoroughness in making sure he has answered all your questions and covered all the basis, along with his always smiling personality is what defines a 5-star rating.

A doctor who listens!
I seen Dr. Grunbaum on Thursday. All I can say is he is AMAZING! This was my first appointment with him, he was kind, friendly, understanding and best of all he LISTENS to his patients. That is so very important that you feel like you and your doctor are on the same page and that you feel like they have your best interests in mind. He ordered literally 15 blood tests to help figure out what is going on with me. 3 of them I already recently had done but he wants to retest to be sure they were accurate, Instead of just covering the issues up with medication. I highly recommend him.

No regrets.
I have been a patient of Dr. Grunbaum for six years. He is always very thorough, compassionate, understanding, a good listener and never rushes through the appointment. Under his care my arthritis pain level is almost non-existent. I am glad that I chose him for my care. Diana L.

Extremely unprofession when you ask your physician to help you out with aphthae ulcers that are worsening from being immunocompromised from methotrexat and a history of high white blood cells. I contracted CVOID 19 on 08/05/21 and asked for help to get through this and was denied medications or help. After two weeks I ended up a walkin clinic who diagnosed thatpneumonia and called an ambulance because my pulse ox was low. I did another televisit with them to explain what was going on only to be told they still wouldn't give me antibiotics for the ulcers which have gotten so much worse in a three week period . I seeked treatment somewhere else and got the medications that I needed and just one day of antibiotics I have improvement . They were upset to see how I was treated. I never see Dr. Grundbaum i always see his associates . The staff he has is wonderful and they aren't the problem he is. Very cold and callus if you don't fit into any diagnosis he has no time for you

Don’t ever trust this guy!!!! Kept my father on prednisone for over 5 years and my father went from walking, slight jogging, little bit of limited dancing and within 2 years after 1st prednisone dose he declined so friggin fast, now he has osteoarthritis and in so much pain cause of the damage prednisone did to his bones and any of his current dr’s are scared to give him any steroid injections or treatments to give him some relief but his bones and cartilage are so bad and he’s only 68 yrs old and walks like a 95 yr old man. He is so miserable and hates his life and it’s is solely this dr’s fault. No steroids especially prednisone should EVER be used long term, thanks a lot doc, you ruined my fathers life!!!

I had been going to him for treatment of fibromyalgia, which I was told by his staff that he treats. He put me on a combination of different medicines and I had terrible side effects from them but I hung in and took the meds as directed for about a year, he knew about the bad side effects I was having & that I still had a lot of pain. finally after being so sick from side effects I told him I can not take the combination of the meds anymore, he looked completely confused and did not know what to say to me except to go see his "friend" a psychiatrist. He does not know how treat fibromyalgia at all. Also his office staff were very rude. One is just a number in that office.

I've been seeing Dr. G for almost 2 years. When I suggest I be tested for something, he tests me to ease my mind. He works with me & never rejects my choices, giving me a voice in my course of treatment. He's smart and stays up-to-date with the most recent medical literature. His staff needs to be more vigilant when answering the phones though.

Was dumped as a patient after posting critical review of the practice. I had shingles & had been seen a day earlier by a nurse practitioner. When the med called in didn’t work at all, I called several times but no one would respond to my calls for a different pain med as the low dose of neurontin wasn’t helping. I called numerous times & was in horrible pain still no response. I posted my experience & a week later received a registered letter informing me I had beeln discharged from the practice

Dr. Grumbaum is a very kind, competent and patient-friendly doctor. My wife came to her initial appointment with a great deal of anxiety. She had been with her RA doctor for six years. When we left Dr. Grumbaum's office, we felt like the doctor and staff would provide my wife even more support that she had previously. This man is an excellent doctor!
