Dr. Adam Rosen, DO

9 months post TKA I will never look back to the pain prior to surgery! The pain for the first 10 days was significant at best but I knew that would happen because Dr. Rosen was so forthcoming about the procedure, the expected pain post op and the recovery process. I went in to the procedure fully aware of what to expect and what to do post op to expedite the healing process. I would recommend Dr. Rosen to anyone, anywhere!

My experience from pre surgery through surgery through physical therapy as Doctor Rosen directed was simply outstanding.

Knee replacement surgery is difficult to recover from but very much worth it - especially with such an outstanding doctor and staff as I had with Dr Rosen and Scripps Green Hospital.

I was scared of having surgery. I waited to long to have my knee replaced; but Covid happened, so I waited. The staff and surgeon were very calming and provided wonderful information to me.

It has been 8 months since I received my new knee . Recovery went well with lots of preop instructions and information along with consistent work with PT and daily exercises after surgery. It is great to return to my daily activities almost pain free,

I recovered very quickly from my total knee replacement surgery. It has been eight months since the surgery and I can walk distances with ease. I am very happy with Dr Rosen’s surgery on my knee. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Rosen is professional and friendly. He is very knowledgeable and shares his information in an understandable laymen manner. He takes his time to be sure that all my questions are answered. HIs work on my knee seems skillful and left the smallest, thinnest scar of all my other four previous surgeries. He has excellent followup software driven procedures and assistance.

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, I went to Urgent Care at Scripps Clinic because of the excruciating pain I was having in my right hip. After x-rays were taken of my right hip, a few minutes later, Dr. Adam Rosen showed my x-rays to me and expressed great concern at what he saw. He said he would like to perform surgery on my right hip the next week which he did. I was so happy and relieved that Dr. Rosen saw the urgency in my needing right hip surgery. After Dr. Rosen performed total hip replacement on my right hip, I found him to be an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend Dr. Rosen to anyone looking for, not only an excellent orthopedic surgeon, but one whose wonderful compassion is commendable.

Dr Rosen preformed both of my TK replacements 3 months apart, He said I had some of the worse knees he’s ever seen, he removed bone spurs, when combined that were the size of a baseball, from each knee. I have been in outpatient PT at Gaspar for the past 6 months and couldn’t be happier with my progress, I can now walk normally and ride my bike again. I highly recommend Dr Rosen and staff, he is honest and tells you what to expect and what you need to do. I’m so thankful that Dr Rosen was my surgeon.

Dr. Rosen did my right knee and now the left. This recovery is a lot tougher but with appointments and pt my knee was on the road to recovery after 2 months my knee is at 120 degree bend. He gave words of encouragement and listen to your concern. The website is very helpful. I was able to print all excercises for program which for me is easier because sometimes phone is distracting because someone is texting or calling. I am glad I had it done, no more braces.

Dr. Rosens and his staff's kindness stood out, all my questions were answered and as much as I was worried about my upcoming surgery, I felt supported at all times and inspired to do all the physical therapy in order to see good results. Dr. Rosen evaluated my knee and recommended knee replacement surgery. He was very informative and answered my questions regarding the procedure. Written information and instructions pre and post surgery were spot on. My experience with the surgical team and hospital after care team was excellent. Luna in home PT was great. The Force Therapeutics website provided regular information and exercises throughout my rehab.

This is my second knee replacement by Dr. Rosen. Recovery is just what Dr Rosen total it would be like. The pain is gone.

Tried hyaluronic acid injections for 3 years and platelet rich plasma injections and was in denial about surgery. Decided to meet Dr. Rosen who answered all questions before and after surgery. Following his directions along with assistance and encouragement of my Luna Physical Therapist - Desiree Harguess, I recovered amazing fast. Never used a walker or cane and was walking the dog within 2 weeks of surgery. PT was a challenge but Desiree kept me motivated with increasingly difficult exercises to get back to a normal life. Having osteoarthritis stage 4, I was unable to get out of a car, stand or even get out of bed, without standing for a few minutes to get my leg to function. 1st thing noticeable after surgery was the arthritis was gone!! Can't thank Dr. Rosen enough for giving new life to this 70 year old male wishing to be young again!! Now able to once again golf, ride bikes, hike, and walk without limping. Surgery is the 1st step, PT is worth all the efforts.
