Why is this guy a doctor?
Never experienced a more rude or arrogant doctor. He always turned off replies his messages to me and would never address my concerns over email. When we talked, his only solutions were holistic approaches. That isn’t bad, but when I was trying my best to do what he suggested and it wasn’t working, he literally said “that’s not my problem” instead of prescribing me meds to help. The meds I wanted to get back on were prescribed by him in the past too. Then he told me I should just find another doctor. Seriously??? Avoid this guy!!!

Very Happy!
He was very kind and understanding of my hesitance to see a Kaiser Dr. Now I want to stay with Kaiser because HE is my Doctor. And a very good one!

Hard pass.
I don't see many doctors but regarding this guy....I don't think I have ever seen a worse doctor/person. Arrogant = check, Uncaring = check, know it all = check, unkind = check. After 30 years of Kaiser I ended my coverage.

There are NO words! He is absolutely terrible. 40 minutes late, unapologetic, arrogant, no bedside manner whatsoever, doesn’t listen, came across as uninterested and abruptly ended my appointment after a few minutes, stating if I had anything else to discuss I would need to schedule another appointment. I think NOT. I filed a complaint with member services and he actually called me later that same day in a very aggressive manner and yelled at me. #worstdoctorever

I went in for a routine check up and thought Dr. Abarca was wonderful. He listened and answered all of my questions. Very nice and I didnt feel that I had a rushed appointment.

I do not understand the 3 terrible reviews posted. He was my Dr. at the Garden Grove Office for several years. He always took time to listen to my issues and explain very clearly, and was easy to understand. Friendly and caring!!!! After he left Garden Grove office and went to Mission Viejo, I would make an appointment with him once a year, just for follow ups for myself and my husband, even thou we have another provider, It saddens me to see how someone could tear down this doctors reputation

He could not care less about why I was there and what my problem was. One thing he cared about was to get off seeing me as soon as possible and charge me at the highest category possible.
