Not A Good Experience
I was referred to Dr Vennepureddy due to an abnormal bone marrow signal on an MRI. I was diagnosed with and treated for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Throughout my entire treatment he was very uncommunicative. Did not answer most of my questions, always ran behind then rushed through my appointments, was very dismissive of my concerns and any side effects. At one point I mentioned to him that chemo was hard on the body. 'No, it is not' was his response. What kind of doctor tells you that chemo is not hard on you? He also told me 'oh, thats nothing' when I told him about a side effect I was having. I have since left that practice and am receiving medical treatment elsewhere. The kicker - I discovered from my new physician that I also had a second type of lymphoma at the time of my original diagnosis! 15 months later I found out that there were 2 types of cancer involved. Dr Vennepureddy did not share that information with me. He should have. It really seems like he just doesn't care.

Just a number
Treats you like you are a number in the computer and nothing more. Rushes appointments and could care less. Other specialists in the same field seem to always disagree with him.

Terrible! In June of 2022 my mom was referred to him for elevated platelet count. He looked at previous labs, said “it’s probably inflammation from smoking” and told her to follow up in one year (which would’ve been June 2023). Never did additional testing; blood work, scans, nothing! In February of 2023 she was not doing well, went to ER, admitted in ICU, dx with SCLC! Since then she’s received great care elsewhere however, this could’ve been diagnosed sooner with better outcomes with treatment, condition, overall health! Horrible doctor!

Rushes appointment and doesn’t listen to concerns
Waited for my appointment over a hour. Was sent to see why my white blood cell count was always elevated. He said very quickly it was because I had a splenectomy. My gastroenterologist wanted a better explanation than that. Sat there and watched him look at his watch 3 times! The person I was with noticed his antics as well. I felt rushed and that he wasn’t concerned at all! He also stated that my cirrhosis of the liver isn’t that “bad” little did he know that .. 2 weeks prior I was sent to University Hospital in Cleveland for a referral and told in 5 years I could be dead with the way my liver is now, and if I don’t do something to help myself by my gastrointestinal doctor. I’m definitely more confused now than I was. I don’t recommend this doctor at all. Oh and beware don’t go by the internet directions to get here. Sends you to a completely different building, even employees from the hospital said it’s confusing how to get here. Do not recommend

Patient was referred for melanoma. When asked about sun exposure, Dr V shrugged and said "You don't live near the equator." The practice does not allow patient to switch physicians within the practice.
