Horrible
Dr Fisayo was awful. Dismissive. Abrupt. Told me I needed to see a glaucoma specialist, even though my pressures were normal, and scoffed at testing me for MS even with a positive family history. He tested NOTHING and dismissed onset of optic nerve atrophy as “not his problem” Passed me off to another horrible Yale MD.

Horrendous experience!!!
He was also disrespectful to not only me, but also the technician. The only exam I had from him, after he had stormed into the room- he was already 12 minutes late- was he told me “take your glasses off!” No introduction, and no “PLEASE” - he just flashed a light in my eyes, stepped away and, said, “I can’t help you” !! He was in the room, not more than 3 minutes!! I had waited 4 months for this so called appointment!?!?! I was in shock! No drops no questions, no tests, no REAL examination!!! Then left the room. He was extremely RUDE!!! He should have taken pointers from the very nice girls in that office It was as though he had something better and more important to do! I would truly NOT RECOMMEND THE MAN! He was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! People with the title DR., don’t treat patients the way he did!

Very knowledgeable and Professional
He and his team are professional. They ran me through a LOT of tests and were thorough in explaining everything to me. Ultimately he could not help me because my eyes are healthly; the damage is in the brain for me. He did identify my problem and acknowledged how much it is impacting my life. My issue is not something that his office treats so he told me to seek an additional specialist.

Phenomenal Physician
Absolutely extraordinary physician. Asked very thoughtful questions. Listened carefully. Double, triple checked all tests. Went out of his way to ensure I understood everything he was saying. Excellent teaching rapport with the resident and medical student present. Was obviously considering my situation even after my appointment based on a note I subsequently received from him. I feel very confident that I am getting the care I need.

Dr. Fisayo gave me back my life again NO MORE EYE
Great, in Dec. 2020 I caught Covid, and got pain in my eyes along with a ton of other stuff I'm now 81, and saw 3 doctors without help, but the last eye checkup gave me a hint to try an eye doctor who knows about the nerves with eyes. OK I let them do all the normal eye checking then Dr. Fisayo comes in he let me give him an idea of my issues which were eye pain in my right eye which when it got really bad turned into a headache, plus eye pain, in about 30 seconds he started pushing on my forehead then he pushed up under my right eye socket, WOW I had no idea I was about to feel such pain, then he tried the other eye which gave me zero pain, he then said he would be back, OK I'm not sure why and I don't care why maybe he was investigating all I know is he sees me again, and with careful care shows me on a computer screen how my nerves above my eye work, and I was fully able to see my issue, he said I must have had an old injury once, I'm guessing maybe Covid woke it up or it just happe

Rude, condescending, does not care. Does not pretend to care. I can't believe he is a doctor. See anyone else, at any other office.

Was the worst experience of a doctor in my life. He was ignorant and rude and completely ignored not only my concerns, but that of 3 other doctors I had seen prior. He was literally was making fun of my condition of dizziness & blurred vision as just being old, I had just gotten out of the ER a month before this visit. I find it hard to believe he's even a doctor, I will NEVER see him again.

We were referred by our retiring neuro ophthalmologist in Hartford. Appointment was at 2:30, left at 5:45, and saw doctor for a total of 7 minutes! He was rushed, arrogant, dismissive, and disrespectful. The staff was dismissive, hardly made leye contact with us throughout the process. Tests were performed and no one discussed the results with us! We will never return there again.

He was a huge waste of time. The first issue is he neglected to let me know he did not have any of my records only a referral. I was there for well over two hours yet only saw him for apx 15 he was very Snappy rude and never allow me to talk. He asked me 3 Q he didnt let me answer bc he had prematurely decided that what I came in with(iih)is something I don't have and that every single doctor including all the ultrasounds say i do is wrong. His own bio states he disagrees with iih diagnoses.

That he is called a doctor is a travesty. That he gets paid for it should be criminal. Gave him records & letters from my doctors, which he claimed to have read intensely yet he asked ME what they thought the "big defect in the visual field was"-um, the glaucoma I've had for 12 years?! Asked about the vision & muscle disorder issues, he waved it off with "what they've been doing--prisms, patching, that's good." His entire exam was waving his finger in front of me three times. DON'T GO TO HIM!!!
