Dr. Ionescu was very pleasant and personable but was late to arrive from home to an office appointment and on the day of my hysterectomy was late to the operation. Both times she blamed traffic. My vaginal hysterectomy turned into an open incision surgery when she accidentally sliced my bladder. A doctor from another hospital was called to do the bladder repair. My general practitioner (a former gyno) said that in a person with no cancer or endometriosis that these accidents don't happen.
