Extremely Uncaring & Uninvolved With Some Patients
Waited over 13 hours in emergency room. Understood it was extremely busy. Dr. Mitra spoke with me for approximately 3 to 6 minutes. Found that the intake nurse had failed to note an injured leg. She did not discover the injury by examining me, I had to tell her about it, even though my ankle & foot were about 2 sizes above normal. Said they would have to order more x-rays. Never spoke to Dr. Mitra again. My wife saw her talking to the person in the cubicle next to mine, about 2 feet away & when Dr. Mitra walked away without speaking to us, my wife spoke up & asked if she had information on me. As she continued to walk away, she said, you can go home with a boot. Had to learn of fractured tibia, etc. from discharge papers. Refused pain meds to me, a 73 yrs old that had fallen off roof onto concrete patio. After having discharge nurse tell me that there was a prescription being sent to pharmacy, which apparently a straight up lie. Would not trust her to doctor my worst enemy.

I was in on 6/27/21 Dr. Mitra was wonderful! She has amazing bedside manner. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Really seemed like she cared! Her nurse Katie was great as well!
