AAAAA Star Plus Care
For over four years I struggled with constant itching at the roots of my eyelashes and constant watery eyes (tears dripping down my face). It was so distracting, I could hardly concentrate. I saw 8 Ophthalmology specialists who each diagnosed something different as the cause. None of their treatments (drops, wipes, ointments, etc.) resolved the problem for more than a few days at a time. Dr. Kanesa-Thasan took my history, examined my eyes, diagnosed the problem and recommended a simple regimen that has gotten this completely under control. I am continually impressed with Dr. Kanesa-Thasan--while he clearly manages a heavy case load, he give me his full attention while I with him, is caring and compassionate--and passionate about patient care. I highly recommend him with NO reservations!

Experience with Dr. Aditya Kanesa-Thasan
-My experience with Dr. Kanesa-Thasan has been exceptionally good.-I experienced a stroke in my left optic artery which left me with only limited peripheral vision in that eye. My right eye, good eye, had only 20-400 vision at the time. Dr. Kanesa-Thasan replaced the lenses in both eyes. I now have 20-15 vision in my good eye, and improved peripheral vision in my left. -After both surgeries, he called later the same day to check on me. I really appreciated these calls. Additionally, since I had vision only in my right eye, he scheduled more frequent follow up visits to be sure of a full recovery. -I have received the best, most compassionate care imaginable. Dr. Kanesa-Thasan is both highly skilled technically and has the warm, caring personality that we would all like to see in our doctors, but rarely do. -For perspective, I was a career medical researcher at various major medical research institutions for over 30 years. I rank Dr. Kanesa-Thasan as one of the best in his field.

Life Changing!
Dr. Kanesa-Thasan performed cataract surgery on both my eyes in August & the result was nothing short of life changing. The day after he operated on each eye I could see clearly around me & in the distance . I no longer was surrounded by a hazy fog. Driving, socializing, working, tending to household chores became easier because I could actually see everything so bright & clearly. . There was no pain. Dr Kanesa also has a warm & reassuring manner so it made the process less frightening. The staffs at the Wills Eye surgery center in Conshohocken were great as was the staff at his Paoli office. Look no further than Dr Kanesa for the best in cataract & other surgical issues relating to vision. It will be Life Changing.

Outstanding experience with Dr. Kanesa
I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes done by Dr. Kanesa. I was extremely pleased with the level of care I received as well as the outcome of the surgeries. Dr. Kanesa was not only very knowledgable and efficient but also very considerate and caring in answering all my questions. I never felt rushed and he explained everything thoroughly. I was concerned about not being able to see well in the interim and he was able to provide me with a solution. I believe he goes above and beyond in providing the ultimate care to his patient before and after the surgeries. I would highly recommend Dr. Kanesa. You will be in the care of one of the best physicians I have ever seen. I also want to add his office staff who were also outstanding. Whether it’s the front desk people or the behind the scenes people, they were also very accomodating , patient and kind.I had a very positive experience and made the best decision in choosing Dr. Kanesa.

worst possible Misdiagnosed me with no issues and my significant fast loss of visual acuity was due to nuerological issues int the brain, stroke or tumor. Told me to see a neuro opthomology specialist. Which I did and the resident on staff was able to diagno. se my problem in 5 minutes, posterior subcapsular cateracts.He is incompetent.Had 2 cateract surgeries and my vision is back to 20/20. None of the the docs I have met since his first recommendation and misdiagnosis can believe how terrible his diagnosis was. WORST EVER

Do NOT recommend misdiagnosed and wasted 4 months
Worst ever. Do not trust him. Do Not book appointment. Experienced rapid loss of visual acuity and was examined by him first. His diagnosis was NO physiological issues of the eye and told me it must be problem in the brain such as stroke or tumor. See a nuero-opthomology specialist. Had to wait 3 months to get appt at the REAL WILLS EYE hospital professional and the RESIDENT diagnosed me in 5 minutes with posterior subcapsular cataracts. He should have found this problem and did NOT and subjected me to 3 months of needless worry. He should have found this simple eye disease. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM EVER.

Amazing!
Dr Kanesa performed cataract surgery, lens implants, on both eyes. I could not have anticipated the difference the surgery would make in my vision: color vibrancy, sharpness, contrast. Even more remarkably, I was afraid to drive at night, which was why I requested the procedure. LED headlights virtually blinded me. Now I barely notice them. It has been like a new lease on life. I only wish that, in addition to his techncal skills, all doctors had Dr Kanesa's interpersonal skills when dealing with patients. A wonderful doctor and person.

Good experience from start to finish!
Excellent communication; personable, caring, skilled, experienced. Seems genuinely interested in his patients and their well-being. System seems well-organized to manage getting patients through the process. Wait-time occasionally was long, but not during actual procedure, which moved smoothly and efficiently.

Dr Kanesa is an excellent physician
Excellent in every way. The staff was professional and kind, facility was clean with adequate parking and dr. Kanesa fulfilled every quality one would want in a physician..he provides clear explanations of exam results,clear plan for treatment if necessary, he is personable and really listens to the patient and answers questions thoroughly. I have every confidence in him, his care and his staff.

Exceptional Eye Care Experience
Dr. Kanesa-Thasan has provided exceptional care with my eye needs. He has the unusual combination of extremely high competence with great interpersonal skills. His ability to quickly assess the unique attributes of my eyes, present clearly my options and outline a suggested path forward made for a great experience. And when an unexpected eye defect presented itself during cataract-removal-and-lens-replacement surgery, he was able to deftly address it with great results. I have found his assessment and advice to be without fault, and my eye sight is now the best it has ever been. Highly recommend.

My Experience with Paoli WillsEye Center
My experience with Dr. Kanesa-Thasan and the Paoli WillsEye Center was excellent. Wait times were very reasonable, staff was friendly and efficient, they cleaned the equipment with a wipe before they used it. They explained what they were looking for etc. Dr. Kanesa-Thasan also explained what he was doing and was very personable. A good experience all around and have recommend it to friends and family. My cataract surgery was very successful and my vision is excellent. A+++++

Simply the Best
I cannot help but give a glowing endorsement for Dr. Aditya Kanesa-thasan. If in need of an ophthalmologist, your search is over. I highly recommend him!After several frustrating attempts at another practice to find out what was wrong with my vision, I finally received the care I deserved (and then some!) from Dr. Kanesa-thasan. He is an absolutely wonderful and skilled surgeon in every aspect - highly proficient, thorough, kind, conscientious, great bedside manner, etc. I could go on and on. Dr. Kanesa-thasan has consistently provided the utmost attention to me as a patient and is always willing talk through and answer all of my questions during visits. My eye surgeries were a success and I will forever be his biggest fan! Dr. Kansesa-thasan is a top-notch surgeon. Needless to say, I am eternally grateful to him.

Cataract Surgery
Superb examinations and surgery, at Paoli Eye /Galib Institute and Wills Eye surgery center. Both eyes were corrected and results are amazing! Supersharp 2020 vision now in both eyes.Procedures were smooth, stress-free and perfectly done.I unhesitatingly recommend Dr.Kanesa!

Cares about his patients & what works for them.
Dr. Kanesa did both of my cataract surgeries & I couldn’t be happier…he opened up a much brighter life for me. He takes his time and truly listens to his patients. The office staff is great. Yes I had to wait a tad for my appointment but I also realize the amount of time he spent with me. Any doctor can keep a schedule but not every doctor is willing to take his time with each individual patient. Dr. Kanesa has my 100% recommendation.
