Dr. Admir Syla, MD

Dr. Syla saved my life. I went into the ER having chest pain. I got admitted to the hospital where Dr. Syla was my doctor. When he looked at my ekg he told me I was having a heart attack which was then confirmed by blood work. Dr. Syla ordered several different medications and called the cardiologist who took me to surgery and put a stent in my heart. If it wasn’t for Dr. Syla, I don’t think I would be alive. God was looking out for me that day when he sent me to him. God bless.

Dr. Syla cared for my mom in the hospital when she suffered a large stroke. He went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. He also called us daily to keep us informed of her condition. 5 days later, my mom made it to rehab and is doing much better. Thanks Dr. Syla and LewisGale staff.

Dr Syla was not caring nor compassionate. Seemed very distracted and unconcerned about the well-being and comfort of my wife. Because my wife was in sepsis, we had to get her to the nearest hospital. Such a huge regret, it would have been far better to drive the extra 30 miles to Her regular hospital than to deal with Dr Sala. When I explained to and showed current proof of my wife’s Pain Management Specialist’s medicine orders, Dr Syla refused to follow the regimen that my wife had been on for several years. I had to continue to plead her case. Also, after being seen by a different Dr that read my wife’s CT scan, Dr Syla said that he felt like they over exaggerated their conclusions and opted not to treat my wife’s condition, which only worsened. I would highly suggest that you request a different Dr. or go to a different hospital if care is needed.
