Dr. Adrian Kohut, MD

I had surgery performed by Dr. Kohut, and I couldn't be more impressed and thankful. His bedside manner is truly outstanding. He took the time to explain everything in detail, made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and showed genuine care for my well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Kohut for anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate GYN oncologist.

The initial visit had me thinking this was going to be a good situation. Fast forward to today. Surgery cancelled day before due to dropped tasks and errors on TGH oncology and Dr. Kohut. Patient health decline due to poor care the week before. Dr. and staff don't care about their patient. They tell me several errors aren't how they normally operate. So I am to believe this to be true for everyone else but I am the trash patient. He knew all about the cardiology situation on August 2nd for example. Didn't care to address it till the day before on the 19th. Lots of mistakes have been made. Leaving the patient to be sent home to die without care.

Dr. Kohut was the 7th doctor I saw regarding my large abdominal mass. Every other doctor was afraid to touch it, others made very inaccurate initial diagnoses. Dr. Kohut was extremely thorough; he prepared me for every scenario, treated me like an adult (unlike most of the others), and took the time to explain everything in-depth. I was very comfortable with him doing my surgery. The procedure went very smoothly, and my recovery had no issues. He left healthy organs in place which originally were projected as needing to come out per the MRI - I very much appreciated this. He only took what he needed to, but also did not leave any room for cancer risks. My primary care physician was very impressed with the reports. After being quite frankly FRIGHTENED by most of the other doctors, Dr. Kohut put me at ease and proved he is a very caring and competent surgeon.

Dr. Kahot has been wonderful! I am currently being treated for Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. Dr. Kahot has a fantastic bedside manner. He explains everything in detail, is an active listener, and genuinely cares about what I am going through. His staff is equally wonderful.

Dr Kohut performed a major surgery on me. Not only me but my entire family was so impressed with his bedside manner and willingness to explain and answer any questions we had. Could not be happier to have him as my doctor.

I was very unsure about having surgery to remove the endometriosis I had. After the referral from the USF gyns to Dr Kohut, I made my concerns known. He was very understanding, knowledgeable, willing to listen and discuss my concerns and when the final decision was made I felt confident in his skills and ability. Post surgery, I’m very satisfied with my care and felt like I was heard throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kohut and the USF team to anyone seeking care in the Tampa area.

Dr. ADRIAN KOHUT is excellent. As soon as he found out about my situation, he made an appointment for surgery. He went to see me before surgery and after surgery twice at night and the next morning. He was attentive. He kept my family in the loop. about how everything went during the procedure, (Not to mention how excellent the cockatrice of the stitches turned out. First time I've seen such good results) If you are looking for a good doctor, don't be afraid and put your life in his hands. I don't want to fail to mention I respect my opinion about not transfusing blood and he was very patient because my first language is not English. Thank you Doctor.

Dr Kohut has been one of many doctors that has treated me during the last year, however he stands out as an exception. The kind of person the has selected the right profession. During my hospitalization and follow-up visits, he went out of his way to locate me on campus to provide test results, explaining details in language that understandable. He recalls previous interactions and discussions specifically to my condition. He is joined and mentored by others that I also respect. I am fortunate to be one of many he is to treat in the future.
