I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wagner’s for all most 3 years. I would not recommend her. “I do not have time to compare your last yrs blood tests!” “ We are over booked and short staffed!” “We need to over turn this room.” Not my problem. My Health issues have been dismissed. I bought several concerns to the office manager and she said it would be easiest for me to find a new doctor. She said Dr. Wagner is her boss and she can’t go to her with my concerns. ??? I asked to switch Dr.’s within the practice and it’s against office policy. If you care about your health, I’d sadly recommend staying away from this office.

I went in to meet Dr. Wagner, since my previous doctor had retired. She reviewed my charts and renewed a prescription. The appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. When I received a $100 charge for the standard doctor's visit that should be covered under my insurance, nobody at the practice could tell me why. When I left a message with billing after going back and forth with insurance and them and no one called me back, I assumed it was dealt with. Two months later, I received a somewhat threatening letter saying I needed to pay up. Again, when I called to find out why I was being charged, one could tell me. When I finally sent a payment, even though I thought it was wrong, a day later, I received a certified letter that I was being kicked out of the practice. I later found out that even though it was a standard appointment, because she renewed a prescription for an antidepressant, it was considered a "mental health" visit.

I cannot say how my experiece was with Dr. Wagner because I was turned down as a patient. I had an appt with an Orthopedic doctor and he referred me to her. I called for an appt and was asked questions that I had to answer then this info would be given to Dr Wagner and she would contact me if she accepted me as a patient. I found this odd, either you are accepting new patients or you are not. It leaves me to wonder, was it something with my age? Did she not care for my insurance provider? Was it because of either of the 2 prescriptions that I take? It's obvious she is accepting new patients but has criteria to judge who those new patients will be. I do understand that doctors do not want to overload their practices so not taking new patients would be the answer. I believe she is cherry picking her prospective new patients and have no idea why she selects one patient over another. I found the entire experience disturbing and unprofessional.

Over the weekend I had an accident skiing. It sent me to the ER, and then off on a orthopedic referral. Dr. Wagner’s office is so genuinely invested and caring, they took the time to call me personally and let me know they were all thinking of me and to make sure I was ok. That’s a 5 Star patient experience if I’ve ever known one! Thank you!
