Dr. Afsar Waraich, MD

Having moved to Aiken in 2020, I was due for endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures and was referred to Dr. Waraich by my primary. Firstly, this is the first time I have ever had these procedures done in the climate of a medical office vs a hospital. It might as well have been a hospital, it all ran with precision and teamwork. As all of us will admit, a colonoscopy is not a procedure we want but understand the need for it. Dr. Waraich and his team of professionals were wonderful throughout the entire process . All the staff members are high-skilled in their specific area and perform exceptionally. If you need to find a Gastroenterologist, then this is the place to come for outstanding care. I am exceptionally pleased with the service provided by Dr. Waraich and his professional team members.

Dr. Warwick had been my doctor for several years. He is exceptional. He is what I consider to be "patient oriented". He cares about his patients and listens to their concerns. He is also extremely knowledgeable, and thorough. I consider myself fortunate to have Dr. Warwick as my gastroenterologist.

Dr Wairach and his staff are Exceptional! From the sweet, friendly ladies at check-in all the way through to check-out, I have always been treated with kindness, courtesy and professionalism. As for Dr Wairach, I cannot say enough how absolutely Wonderful he is. There are times when the wait is a little long, but Dr W gives his full and undivided attention. He truly listens and is so compassionate. To me, he is absolutely worth however much time it takes. Especially bc I know he is giving everyone else the same care that I will get. I highly recommend Dr W.

Called for an appointment and was given one the next day. I’m very nervous about my GI issues but Dr Waraich and staff put my mind at ease. Made my appointment comfortable.

I was seen quickly, compassionately and all of my concerns were addressed. Dr. Waraich has twice before performed a EGD on my esophagus to relieve a stricture. He is through and very competent. Excellent doctor.

I have been to the office several times and the staff is very friendly. I did not have to wait long at my last 2 visits. If you have to have a procedure then you should expect that it will be longer. As expected it should take at least an hour for the procedure. The nurse who gave me my IV had an awesome attitude!

One hour wait was too long. Patient portal website is no user friendly. Need to reschedule appointment. Still waiting for reply to voicemail.

Dr. Waraich, found my gastro problems when four other doctors could not. He saved my life.

First time appointment went very well, receptionist checked me in quickly. After a 30 minute wait in the waiting room I was ushered into an exam room. I was originally told the nurse practitioner would be seeing me for consultation but was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Waraich stepped in after about a 10 or 15 minutes wait. He introduced himself, asked me a few questions, told me where my procedure would be done, asked me at least twice if I had any questions and escorted me to the desk to make another appointment. He was very professional, seemed willing to take time with me and not be rushed. The associate that scheduled my next appointment explained in detail what I needed to do before the procedure, was professional and friendly and answered my questions very well. Overall a very good first impression.

Dr Warwich is a great doctor. He is very knowledgeable in his field & knows how to treat his patients. I was suffering with colitis for many years & had been to many doctors but no one could help me. I went to him & he immediately stopped my colitis with a simple pill that I take every day. Now I have my life back thanks to him!

Front desk was most kind and friendly, along with the medical staff. They were skilled in customer service. Dr. Waraich was polite, introducing himself, soft spoken, asking lots of medical questions and answering my questions. He was concerned and interested and did not rush in and out.
