Dr. Agnessa Goodson, MD

At 76, with a history of four melanomas and all types of skin cancers, I encountered my worst medical experience with Dr. Goodson. She took a biopsy of a suspicious spot on my shin, which tested positive, prompting me to return for surgery to remove the cancer. Unexpectedly, she conducted an infection lab test, but then proceeded with the surgery despite her suspicions. Afterward, I suffered severe swelling on my right side up through my hip, requiring multiple knee drainings and 7 months of physical therapy. I later found that the HA-MRSA diagnosis from the lab did not get to me efficiently because of administrative errors. When trying to discuss these concerns at a follow-up, Dr. Goodson became irritated and dismissive, focusing only on a new skin check. Days later, I received a letter ending our doctor-patient relationship. This review highlights my experience with substandard care, poor communication, and unprofessionalism. I've since found a new dermatologist for my skin cancers.

Dr. Goodson is knowledgeable and willing to offer solutions, but is very cold and condescending during visits. I would rather drive further to find someone who is more kind.

Premier Dermatology has a very friendly staff. New, clean office located in Southlands Mall. Dr. Goodson took more time with me than any other dermatologist ever has. She is thorough, efficient, and very good at what she does.

Now in Colorado, saw her for a skin issue. Felt like she was very uninterested in my concern, also not interested in figuring out why I was having a problem. Gave me something to try, made it worse.

Dr. Goodson was kind, thorough, and informative. She is now in Colorado.
