I was referred to Dr Nassif by Dr James Kang many many years ago. If you know anything about Spinal Surgeons you know he is one of the best in the country. I don't understand the negative reviews left here at all? Dr Nassif is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable PM docs I have ever been to & I was sent to many before Dr Nassif. Je iss knowledgeable compassionate and never ever did I feel rushed during an exam. He always explains my issues very clearly and verifies that I understand before he leaves the room. I have had many injections and he has always explained what he was going to do to help me get relief. He has diagnosed my latest issue by simply doing a physical exam. I had the 1st injection and it lasted 1 yr! SIJoint. I trust him implicitly! He also referred me to a surgeon in PA (who at the time was on staff for the Steelers)who inserted my SCS. That has given me more good days Most people only leave reviews if they are negative so I felt the need to post a +

Out of 3 visits he only saw me for about 8 minutes. He invalidates whatever pain you have. I had to see another doctor and be examined for disability and what's sad is that doctor actually noted my upper back & scoliosis is bad. I have had herniated discs since I was 11, I know what the pain feels like. I'm having it in other areas like my neck and middle back. I kept pushing for imaging, something other than an x-ray if my lower back which I knew was bad. I have disc degenerative disease of course it's gotten worse in 20 years! When he was going over the results of my x-ray of my low back I asked if i had spinal stenosis, he said verbatim "that's something an MRI would show"...I expected him to say he'd order one. Very first visit prior to updated imaging he wanted to do injections after spending two minutes with me. I made it clear I want no medications or injections without finding out more about what's wrong in my back. Worst part he recommended psychotherapy & aquatherapy

I was sent to Dr. Nassif for pain management by my family doctor in 2017 to continue the pain management that I had been receiving for 4 and a half years. I was susposed to be scheduled a new MRI and also to start getting spinal injections. After 3 appointments over a 2 month span, I was (NEVER) given a single injection, (NEVER) was given a single prescription, nor was the MRI ever scheduled. He also had the nerve to red flag me after I told his office that I will be going elsewhere.

He is a nice person. I think he wants to help but is not good at it! I went to him for 2 years and he never read my chart. I had neuropathy that was diagnosed by another doctor and he refused to treat me for it denying that I had it. He made me feel like I was crazy. I now got help for severe thoracic cord compression that could have paralyzed me due to his neglect. I hope nobody ever has to suffer like I did. He needs to listen to his patients. Not all are after drugs!
