Dr. Ahila Lingappan, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Lingappan for over 5 years. She has treated me for many issues including keraconis to diagnosing my detached retina and tear. She is amazing and takes her time to explain and follow up. I feel fortunate to have been referred to her as my doctor.

Patiently reviewed exam and findings. Answered questions in a clear manner.

Dr. Lingappan is great, but the office hours are horrible, no appointments after 3 pm. You have to take 1/2 day off from work to visit this office. My primary care doc, rheumatologist, gynecologist, & dentist have all resumed a full days work schedule. These people need to offer at least one full day of appointments

I am very disappointed in our visit with Dr. Lingappan today. My husband has Alzheimer's disease, which I explained to the person that took him back today. I asked if it was ok to run to the store, and she said yes. When I returned, I waited 20 minutes more. Dr. L came out to tell me everything was fine. I asked why he had vitamins for his eyes, and the lady checking us out said, he is in the beginning of Macular Degeneration! I asked to speak to the doctor, and when she came into the room, she was frustrated that she had spent"an hour and a half with my husband" and that now I wanted information. I told her that I believe there was a communication problem with her and her staff, since I told the first lady that he had Alzheimer's disease, and she told me, yes I hear you went shopping. I have never had a doctor's office behave in this way regarding my husband's diagnosis. I will accompany my husband into all visits from now on, but it will no longer be with Dr. Lingappan.

I've always been seen very promptly. Dr Lingapan is very attentive and caring. If you have a test they give you the results before you leave. It's the best practice I've ever been to and I've worn glasses 60 years.

I found Dr. Limgappan to be very through and informative. I did not feel rushed and was glad that she had her technician take photos to ensure that my eye issues did not worsen. She is knowledgeable with my Auto Immune Disease, therefore, I feel confident in her abilities as my eye doctor. Staff and technician was also professional and friendly. Will recommend to others. Dr. Lingappan is one of the best eye doctors, I have visited. She spends lots of time in checking patient and give most accurate advise. Her methods of treating patient are excellent and she never recommends unnecessary visits. I already have recommended her to family and friends.

I really liked her. She was very nice and I got an appointment right away.
