Would never recommend nor go back
I was referred to Dr. Farooq for an endoscopy, colonoscopy and enlarged liver. He seemed in a rush in my initial visit. At the time of my procedure everything went well. However, when it was time for my results, he called me and said everything came back negative. I asked him about the H. Pylori biopsy and about my liver. He seemed annoyed that I was not content with the 'everything is fine' response. He told me my liver was fine that it was a misread from the radiologist from the initial CT. For the H. Pylori he stated it was negative. I asked what my next step was. He answered, 'that's it. There's no next step.' Later, when I recieved my results in the mail I see that I infact was positive for H. Pylori. My PCP had to give me the reatment for it instead of Dr. Farooq. Then my hematologist ordered an ultrasound of my abdomen and found that I have a 3mm polyp in my gallbladder, my liver is still enlarged and I have dialated portal vein. All of which this Dr. Missed. Would never recomme
