Changed my life
Telehealth
I experienced a severe back injury surfing in 2019. My neurosurgeon would not touch my back and sent me to Dr Sewielam He tested and recognized my problem. With his knowledge and expertise he found the right process to almost eliminate my severe pain. He explained what he was doing each visit, compassionate, very concerned , and friendly. Before I visited Dr Sewielam I could barely move. Now it’s about every 5-6 months and I go in for the procedure and could almost trot out, if they would let me. He has changed my life!!!

The Best!
When my wife first went to see Dr. Sewielam, she was suffering from chronic back pain and could barely walk. Unfortunately, we discovered that she is a rare case where most pain meds are not effective on her. Dr. Sewielam never gave up. He continued to try things until he finally found one med that worked. His due diligence paid off, and she was able to function so much better. You have to remember, this is pain management, which does not always equate to pain elimination. With Dr. Sewielam, determination and expertise, my wife is able to function and enjoy life better. Oh, and did I mention that Dr. Sewielam is also my spineand pain management doctor. We absolutely love Dr. Sewielam. He is kind and compassion, is knowledgeable, and clearly loves his job and his patients. He is a godsend to us.

The Very Best Pain Management Doctor
He listened, he cared, he was a life saver improving all the pain I had. It was baby steps. He worked very hard to fine tune my problems and improve my quality of life. He treated me for three years and he left the group and I am determined to follow him.

Very bad experience with this dr. I had a outpatient procedure that left me with additional nerve damage and severe pain. I could barely walk for 2 months. When I went back for post care, this dr wouldn’t treat me. I had to go outside of Kelsey for treatment. There are good docs at Kelsey, not this one!

I was his patient for over 4yrs. He did not listen to my concerns. When I had appointments he only wanted to hear that everything was working fine. He never wanted to listen to my concerns about my medication. After four years my medication was no longer working. I asked if we could change the medication to maybe a different brand. I wasn’t asking to increase the dosage, just for a different brand to see if that would help. He ignored my request and was extremely condescending about it. He had an intern in the room and seemed as if he was showing off for him by being rude. Even the intern seemed bothered by the way he was speaking to me. I was also given a series of three shots in my back. He wouldn’t allow me to be put to sleep for them. Only giving me a local of numbing medicine which only numbs the skin. The shots were very painful. I spoke with two patients in the beds next to me waiting for their shots from him one day, and BOTH told me they were being put under for their shots.

I have been a patient with Dr Sewielam for almost 11years. I Thank God for Dr Sewielam... I have CRPS and a lot of people and physicians don't know what that is. When i saw Dr Sewielam for the first time, he looked at me and told me what i have. The test confirmed it... He has been there for me 100% and that's the reason I haven't given up. Thank you for everything Dr Sewielam.. If you are serious to get help and do what the doctor tells you then you are with the best. Dr Sewielam is the best

Totally disappointed. Staff is disorganize and unprofessional. Have attempted to schedule pain management treatment for 2 months, and still unable to have a clear plan and follow-up. Will be leaving the Kelsey system ASAP.
