Dr. Aiden Gould, MD

We went to Renown Emergency (Meadows location) with a traumatic head injury, despite the low ratings of this hospital. We are new to Reno and neither Renown hospital was rated well. My husband was whisked into a CT scan. The rooms were full; he had to sit on a gurney in the hallway. This provided us a full few of the activities. Dr. Gould was the only doctor I saw present, though there may have been one other. She was rushing to see all patients, though when with each patient, she gave her undivided attention, was not hurried with the patients or staff and she was kind and empathetic. Two ambulances arrived as well. They triaged with ease. With us, Dr. Gould explained the results, the after care, concerning changes to be on the watch for, etc. Full disclosure: I have a medical background. Based on our experience with this emergency room and Dr. Gould, I would not hesitate to seek emergency medical care at this facility again. Our total visit was about 2 hours long. Amazing!

I was charged for an emergency room visit as well as a doctor's visit from this doctor. He came in for 1 minute in the room and simply asked what was wrong, left, and I never saw him again. I was charge almost 800 dollars for that service. Absolutely despicable.

The care and honesty we received yesterday in the early AM hours at Renown Emergency was what was needed I feel, and My Wife Linda Hanson and her health issues need proper follow up with that manner of honesty and knowledge going forward, and would greatly appreciate Dr. Gould's input towards that end.
