Dr. Donausky, while super nice, missed our daughter's ruptured appendix. After visiting her office twice and being told it was a virus, we took her to the hospital as her symptoms worsened. The local hospital was really no better in diagnosing her, and thank God they transferred her to Lurie's in the city. Missing the appendicitis was understandable, because other doctors missed it too. But over two week long stays in the hospital, at no time did Dr. Donausky call us to see how we were doing

Dr. D is awesome! As a mom, she offers great insight and even makes recommendations based on what she does for her own kids. She takes the time to listen and answer questions. I drive quite a distance, even though there are many other doctors closer to home because I just love her. I feel like she has gotten to know my children and myself.
