Dr. Ajay Agarwala, MD

My EKG came out abnormal, thus my primary physician asked me to schedule an appointment with Dr. Agarwala. On the day of my appointment, he came in 1 hour later without apology. He suggested me to take CT scan. I only talked him about 5 min. Later I found he claimed $487.00 to my insurance for a new patient office visit over 45 min. I downloaded the medical report document that he supposed to fill in, there were no new information. I don't think this is right and do not recommend him.

Do not trust his diagnosis. Likes to do procedures when they are not needed. Only concerned with nsurance reimbursement. NOT RELIABLE.

What can I tell you about a good doctor and the staff*. I guess the doc drives the culture of their practice. First: Very professional, knows his area and takes time to explain it. Second: When you see Dr Agarwala the first time, he might appear to be a very to the point person on his answers. But when you are in the patient room behind the closed door, he will to open up with you. Takes time and will discuss anything that may or may not be directly related to cardiovascular and will give you advice. Third: You all know this, we call for a refill. The office tells you that you have to make a visit first. I didn’t have this experience. I got the refill and then scheduled the appointment. Fourth: *Staff: Let’s distinguish the people on the front desk vs staff who actually run all the tests and take care of you. OMG the folks inside running tests and taking care of you are amazingly great. Now the front desk can use some guidance. May be they are under staffed or lost in the detail. The

The best experience considering it was a very scary situation. He is patient, knowledgeable and highly skilled. I will recommend to anyone who is in need of a cadiologist.

Very knowledgeable and pleasant physician. Stayed on top of everything related to my care. I owe my life to him. He explained every procedure as I was well aware of my plan of care. From Cath lab, stent, wearable defibrillator, chest with palpitations, to ICD, I'm alive today because he cared professionally. I would recommend this cardiologist for everyone of my family members and friends.
