For complicated spines find someone else
Been on a wild goose chase with Joshi and others despite having the same issues for almost 30 yrs. Thought he listened at the first appt, but since then, he’s been determined to blame any other source other than my spine on my pain. I’m done.

Dr. Joshi gave my wife her life back
Dr. Joshi gave my wife her life back. She had been suffering from leg pain for many years and after being introduced to Dr. Joshi by a friend of ours (another orthopedic surgeon), he began consulting with us on options to relieve her pain. My wife suffered from a complex combination of scoliosis, stenosis and arthritis in her spine. Dr. Joshi took a conservative and deliberate approach that ultimately led to surgery. It was a complex surgery because of the challenging combination of issues that needed to be addressed. Dr. Joshi walked us through each element of the procedure with patience and compassion. Dr. Joshi executed the surgery flawlessly and my wife has never been better. She is pain free for the first time in as long as she can remember. Dr. Joshi’s post-op follow up was outstanding. We are so grateful for his work and feel blessed that we were introduced to him. My wife and I can not say enough great things about Dr. Joshi and his entire staff!

Dr. Joshi is awesome
No one has ever taken the time that Dr. Joshi did to discuss my daughter's scoliosis. He was patient, informative, thorough and supportive without rushing or pushing anything and included us both in the conversation. His approach was based on his considerable experience but was tailored specifically to HER, not a "this is everyone who has scoliosis" blanket. Highly recommend him as a spine doctor for scoliosis or anything - and more importantly, my teen left just glowing with how much she liked that appointment and the direction of her care. That's priceless.

Long term care
I’ve had several operations by Dr. Joshi. Every time he has taken the time to explain the procedure. Dr. Joshi has always had my best interest at heart. If it wasn’t for Dr. Joshi I’d be in a wheelchair by now.

Yesterday was my first appointment with Dr. Joshi. His staff is very good. I had to wait a little while to get taken back to an exam room. However, Dr Joshi took his time to explain everything about my condition and he went over all the radiographs and the MRI with me. He took his time and did not make me feel like he was in a rush to move on to the next patient. He answered all my questions and I left knowing I am in very good hands. I would recommend Dr. Joshi to anyone.

Dr. Joshi really listens and takes his time with you. I've never been rushed and when we came to a point where things didn't seem to be moving along, when I asked to stop and re-evaluate, he didn't hesitate. We found the issue and I am on my way to a pain free life. It's amazing, and so is he and his staff!

Dr. Joshi performed surgery on my 12 year old daughter who had a stress fracture on the L5. He was very thorough in his explanation and spoke to her in a way that she understood what was happening and kept her at ease. I think what stood out most for me was throughout my daughters hospital stay Dr. Joshi checked in regularly and we incredibly friendly and respectful to the nursing staff. He has been very encouraging and supportive of my daughters recovery and we are making very quick progress at a healthy return to activity.

Very concerned about his patient and well being of patient. Does not jump right into surgery. Dr. Joshi wants patients to try all other ways to help reduce pain before surgery. Explains in detail to you about your issues and what can be done. I highly recommend Dr. Joshi and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I drive from Corpus Christi, Tx to San Antonio for my appointments.
