Dr. Boah removed cancer from my wife's brain and just operated on my father's back. He's amazing and the reason my wife is here today

It felt to me like he was upset that he had to spend any time with me, I don't know how else to state it. His complete lack of acknowledgment that I experienced severe pain during a procedure. He appeared to be upset when I brought it up on the follow up call (for which he was almost two hours late). And later I found out that my experience was not accurately documented in the official Procedure Notes of my medical record.No way am I going back there.

Dr Boah took the time to talk to the physician that referred me to him before meeting with me. Even with only some of the tests on hand, he also took the time to clearly explain what the MRI revealed and why he thought what he did about the solution (to foot drop). The day of the surgery, he came in ahead of time to check on me, and met with my wife afterwards to explain how the operation had gone. Finally, he followed up personally the following day. The surgery to free up the perineal nerve went smoothly and without pain and early signs are that it has been successful. I would recommend Dr Boah without hesitation for his interest in his patients as demonstrated by the time he took to ensure that his patient fully understood the procedure and for his follow up.

I found Dr Boah after another back surgeon told me that I just needed physical therapy. I was using a walker for almost 2 years, and I’m only in my fifties, and used to be very athletic. He looked at my records and said that he thought he could help me. I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the outcome. I tell him all the time, that he saved my life because I was in incredible pain and wouldn’t have wanted to continue life living in that much pain. Its been 1 1/2 years since my surgery and I am like a brand new person. I have no pain and I enjoy life again. Thank you Dr Boah

Dr. Boah is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain. I haven't had surgery yet, so can't comment. I gave 4 stars because of the office staff. Scheduling has been an issue for me.
