Worst doctor visit in years
The office requires masks (3 signs on the door), but the staff wasn't wearing masks. The staff reversed my first and last name. Then they didn't really listen to why I was there. Dr. Aboaf just ran through his new patient questions without even listening to the answers. He repeated questions at least 4 times. He was at least wearing a mask but when he sneezed he removed his mask completely defeating the purpose of the mask. I would never recommend Dr. Aboaf at all.

I've been with Dr A for over 20 years. He's always been on target with a game plan for my issues (which are pretty much age related). I like his communication style and appreciate his "no BS" approach. It suits me well.

Since relocating to Denver 2 years ago, Dr Aboaf has been my primary care provider. He's very knowledgeable, listens to his patients concerns, and communicates very well. Highly recommended.

He's less interested with treating the sick than he is with following the minutiae of his paper chase.

I practiced urology for 40 yrs both in Canada and the U.S.. Like the Farmers insurance add " I've seen a thing or two " In my career I had contact with well over 200 family docs and I would put Dr. Aboaf in the top three. Both my wife and I have Dr. Aboaf as our family doc. He certainly knows what he is doing - very knowledgable , thorough, pleasant, prompt and the office contacts us IF any test abnormalities , prescription pick ups etc I just don't understand the low opinion of some reviewers

Dr. Aboaf is my husband's primary doctor. He recommended that my husband has a pancreas biopsy that my husband had a month ago. Following this biopsy,my husband has jaundice. My husband had an appointment with Dr. Aboaf and express his concern about loosing more than 10 lb. in less than a month and that fact that he cannot eat. His eyes and skin are yellow, yet Dr. Aboaf was not concerned and did not answer any questions.

Dr Aboaf is great as long as your never sick. Don't bother him for any kind of medication as it's normally out of the question. Never expect his assistance after hours, just go someplace else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Aboaf for more than a decade. He was recommended to me by a world class endocrinologist at the University of Colorado Medical School. Dr. Aboaf is extremely knowledgeable, disciplined in his practice, and has helped me with multiple medical issues. I am in good health, and I credit Dr. Aboaf with having made a real difference in that regard. Over time, my wife and my son have both come under Dr. Aboaf's care by their choice. His referrals have been top caliber.
