I was extremely nervous upon my arrival to St.Vincent Hospital, Emergency Department for chest pain. Once I was assigned a room and met my nurse Savanah, and Dr.Cease, it was all smiles from there. I did not feel rushed while Dr.Cease gathered information from me to truly assess the problem. He has a remarkably attractive and soothing bedside manner. He is amazing at what he does. Dr.Cease listened intently while showing compassion and concern. He really took his time to research and find the the issue. I feel much better now and am home resting with my munchkins. Wonderful hospital, and staff who truly cares. Bedside manner is the healing heart of listening and a very important part of the cure.

He doesn't deserve that 1 star. I went to the ER in bad shape coming from another ER by ambulance to be admitted at this hospital but had to go through his ER , he almost killed me giving medication I am deathly allergic too when I was wearing a allergic wrist band and it was on my chart 1st thing in it. Done this in front if my family , not telling them what it was. Lied to supervisor , and had rude nurse give me this medication which caused medical problems for 3 days. Including haulsanting.

He is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He did not take my complaint seriously. I spent 4 hours in the ER and left in as much pain as I was in when I arrived. He did not listen to anything I had to tell him, and told me there was nothing wrong with me. He gave me a prescription for a medication I am already taking, and would not listen to me when I tried to tell him that. I feel sorry for anyone that gets stuck seeing him at the ER.
