Good Doctor Good Person
My husband was treated for Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer which is a rare cancer and not many survive. Although my husband passed away he received great care from Dr. Kramer and gives a special shout out to his staff who were amazing. After finishing up his treatments his cancer was in remission only it came back a few months later and was very aggressive with no cure going forward. Surgery was out and so was radiation... more chemo treatments were offered however knowing that this was not a cure but a momentary band aide my husband dicided to choose quality of life that he had left. I will end by giving my gratitude to Dr. Kramer and staff who showed kindness to both of us through out our 3 months there. All my best, Lela

Wonderful doctor!
I've been Dr. Kramer's patient for over 10 years and I feel very fortunate to have him on my case! He has seen me through breast and lung cancer and I've always felt he understood me as a patient and a person. I trust him 100% and don't think I could have found a doctor more knowledgeable or caring. Beside all that, I appreciate his easy going 'bedside manner' and his outstanding staff!

Finding Dr. Kramer was my lucky day for my lung cancer treatment. The first visit was in his office to do a physical and talk as he said to get to know me. This approach helped as you would expect finding how you had lung cancer was scary. We talked about treatment plans and the road ahead. He was kind, listened, knew his field and receptive to questions. His office has its own chemo treatment room and you can get you blood work done right in the office. This was especially helpful with the Covid 19 pandemic. His staff also was kind and caring as well as professional in treatment. I am in remission and what can I say but Dr. Kramer's care helped methane and continues to do so as he follows me for the next couple of years. Thank you.

Dr. Kramer is the best! He is a caring and compassionate professional devoted to giving his patients the best care possible. He is very knowledgeable and an expert in his field. He has treated me with the latest immunotherapy and it has saved me. My cancer has now been in remission for 6 months. And I can’t say enough about his kind and caring staff, they are great.

Certainly the best doctor I have ever had. To the usual praise of "caring and compassionate" (and he is definitely both of those), I would add "exceptionally competent." It is worth noting that Dr. Kramer is in contact with a wide range of experts specializing in particular or unusual cancers, whom he will consult with if he feels that might be useful. In my own case (a rare type of lymphoma), when something very unusual came up, he sent me for a consultation with one of the world experts in this particular disease at the Stanford Cancer Center. So with Dr. Kramer you not only have access to his own skill and knowledge, but also, if needed, to the experience and wisdom of some of the best doctors in the country. I will just add that I enjoy talking to Dr. Kramer about many things apart from medicine; he knows a lot, and he is an easy person to talk to.

It has now been almost two years since I was diagnosed with Stage 3 metastatic squamous cell carcinoma in the salivary gland and lymph nodes on the left side of my neck and I am pleased to report that I am doing incredibly well with no signs of cancer. Dr. Kramer and his team have been fantastic to work with. Although surgery and radiation were tough, the team at SF Oncology has made chemotherapy and immunotherapy relatively tranquil. Dr. K never hesitates to spend as much time as I want to answer all of my questions. Unlike most physicians these days, Dr. K has called me personally to discuss test results, insurance coverage, my condition, and other issues. His team is the pinnacle of professionalism: always extremely courteous and attentive. Due to the severe nature of my condition, I am working with teams at both CPMC and UCSF and Dr. Kramer's action plans always have been confirmed. I could not imagine putting my life in the hands of a better physician and human being.

I was referred to Dr. Kramer to shrink a low grade ILC cancer tumor in 1 breast prior to surgery and aggressive IDC tumors in my other breast requiring chemo and targeted therapy with a different approach for each breast. Dr Kramer has excellent bedside manner, is well connected with other medical specialists, stays abreast with the latest oncology developments and tailors each person's treatment to their unique situation. He and his team work like a well oiled machine focused on patient needs.

I cannot recommend Dr. K. enough. I was referred to another oncologist but I did my own research. Dr. K. rose to the top every time. Not only on top of his field, he ENGAGES you. During consultations, we discussed travel, film, restaurants, anything and everything under the sun. This may seem trivial, but it wasn't. He was seeing me not as a patient but as a person, a fellow human being. By engaging me this way, he was reminding me to be remain engaged in life, in what makes life such a joy

Dr. Kramer saved me. I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer 5 years ago. I waited for almost 5 years to write this review to make sure that this review is accurate. Thanks to the treatment by Dr. Kramer, I am now living as a healthy and happy individual. The primary purpose of writing this review is to help cancer patients and their friends and relatives. I had cancer of the larynx 12 years ago. When diagnosed I was T-3 moving into T-4, it was in my lymph nodes. My original oncologist wanted to do the normal protocol and remove the larynx, voice box and put a breathing hole in my neck. Dr Kramer saved me from that horrible fate. He cured me with chemo and radiation. Sure there are side effects, but I retained my powers of speech. I am alive today thanks to the knowledge and skill of Dr Kramer
