I have one eye. The night before my surgery he called and said I wouldn't be happy but with No explanation.He did the surgery anyway. My vision in the only eye I have is horrible. I will have a life of issues with a bad product. He is a horrible uncaring human.

Today, (11/14/19) I had my annual checkup with Dr. Mandelberg and was once again totally impressed with his thorough treatment and attention to detail that I've always received. Dr. Mandelberg’s attention to detail with my cataract surgery was amazing. He was very careful to check the measurements multiple times to be absolutely sure that my eyes were accurately measured for the Intraocular toric lens replacements. As an Airline Pilot, I was concerned because good vision is obviously a requirement in my career. Well now my vision is a solid 20/20, uncorrected. A couple weeks ago I had cataract surgery. Sure, the possibility of losing whatever vision remained in my bad eye was very slight, but I was worried nonetheless. Dr. Mandelberg performed cataract on both of my eyes. My right eye had a problem that he noticed right away. Dr. Mandelberg performed cataract surgery on both my eyes, one a month before the other. One eye had a couple of out of the ordinary conditions that he immediately noticed and took extra precautions to ensure that the surgery would be successful without any complications. As a result, both surgeries went very smoothly and were successful. In addition, whenever I called his office with questions or concerns, they were extremely courteous and patient.

I moved to the North Hollywood area about 22 years ago. Dr. Mandelberg was referred to me from friends at the company where I work. Dr. Mandelberg is an excellent doctor, explains everything and is very caring. His staff is always helpful and friendly. The optics department staff is very helpful when trying to decide on a new pair of glasses. Dr. Mandelberg makes me feel comfortable and explains everything. I always feel like I am in good hands when I see him.
