Absolutely impeccable!
I had cataract surgery a week ago. The entire experience from the first day I was examined was professional and unassailable. I was instructed in the procedure in order to assure perfect results throughout the process. I could not be happier with the results. Thank you Dr. Sampson and staff! Lake County is lucky to have you.

What a pleasant experience
Having read so many negative reviews on here, I wanted to make a point of posting a very positive one. The office staff were incredibly friendly, all the technicians we saw on the way to the actual doctor were very friendly and professional, Dr Sampson was attentive to our needs and answered any questions….. I was quite happy with our visit

Avoid for all the important reasons. Bottom rated
Poor, poor, poor. The type that somehow gets a degree from some medical school but is never going to understand medicine or patients. In the manner in which my exam was conducted, and in his diagnosis, he categorizes as a "checklist checker" doctor who ticks off boxes on a cheatsheet, not a skilled interpreter of health condition. My condition was an eyelid skin rash, for which generic topical antibiotics were prescribed, which failed to work. I'll never go back here: I want a real doctor who'll give me a real chance of being helped.

The 5 star rating is for Dr. Sampson. His staff has been very nice since we started with him. Never had any problems until recently with getting refills for eye drops. It has taken 8 business days for the prescription to be submitted to Walmart for the refills. No excuse for this. Dr. Sampson needs to see why this happened.

He is a great Doctor. He treated serious problems with my wife's eye and we think he saved her vision. He is very easy to talk to and answers your questions. You often have to wait in his office but the results as very much worth it.

I had cataract surgery done by another dr that left my iris incompletely sealed which let light into my eye and it interfered with my vision. I was told by the original dr as well as university specialist that nothing could be done. Dr Sampson sealed it using laser treatment (I can't cite technical name for procedure.) I'm absolutely thrilled and grateful for his skill and care.

I saw him twice and both times had to wait at least an hour to be seen and never received an apology. Very poorly run office, which is too bad because the Doctor seems quite competent and professional

Doctor prescribed eye drops. They burned so bad I was almost crying. I called the office with this complaint and they told me to keep taking them. Called back again regarding the pain and got into an appointment with the doctor. Even though I told him how much pain I was in due to the eye drops he insisted that I continue to use the eye drops.
