Wonderful doctor

I just had my first appointment with Dr Shapiro. Dr Shapiro is very knowledgeable in the field. He is patient, answered all questions. I have seen gastroenterologist for 50 years in many different cities. I feel I am good hands with Dr Shapiro.

Excellent doctor, disorganized office
The doctor took the time and was very thorough and thoughtful. However, be prepared to wait past your appointment time to be seen. The office itself and the staff are a mess.

More than you could ever hope for in a doctor!
Dr. Shapiro has been my doctor for nearly twenty years. He has always been there for me through my ups and downs. I feel blessed to have a man as compassionate and knowledgeable as Dr. Shapiro in my corner. Throughout the entire time knowing him, he has always taken the time to explain all of my concerns no matter how big or small. He has continually gone above and beyond to ensure I received the best treatment possible, even collaborating with his colleagues at other hospitals on my behalf when necessary. The group of doctors and the entire staff he has working with him at his office are all extraordinary as well. Everyone there is extremely helpful and go out of there way to make sure all my needs are taken care of in a timely manner. To me Alan Shapiro is like family. You will never find a better doctor.
