Friendly, prompt, compassionate, and direct.
Dr. Yager has been my doctor for years and I have always had a great experience with him. I don't have to wait in the waiting room forever to see him and he is always prompt with my appointment times, which as a busy professional, I really appreciate. I never have a problem getting an appointment and he is very accessible. I think the other reviewers confuse his direct and candid nature as being rude, but I appreciate those qualities in a doctor where my health is the issue.

Should have read reviews first. Huge mistake choosing this doctor. 10 minutes late he would not see me. Nurse said he had to leave at 11:30 to go to the hospital. Asked the nurse to ask him if we can still be seen. waited around to see. He comes out the office with a dog. He ordered blood work that cost me $1,200.00 because of his coding. Stated it was a mental problem. I should have let a primary order the blood work. He very is rude. I ask the nurse to make another appointment, she's would NOT schedule it because the Dr said i need to get my pain under control first, to worry about him at later date.

I need to update for 2020 the "Run, Don't walk away from Dr. Yager" stated in the previous complaints from 2019 and 2017. They are spot on. I liked the "his way or the highway" and "Very condescending" responses the best. I do not believe he can understand others’ feelings and lacks empathy. I went to him anyway after reading those reviews which makes me an idiot. Suggest you heen the warning.

One person states here Run, Don't walk away from Dr. Yager.... I say SPRINT. This is the rudest physician I have ever dealt with on behalf of my elderly parent. He does not like questions, fails to explain anything in detail and he will not allow you to be in the room while he is speaking to or examining your parent. Very disrespectful to family members. Very condecending. While he is a concierge physician who charges you a fee to supposedly be available at any time, he won't or he will let you know you are interrupting his time after hours. RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY, FROM DR. YAGER'S OFFICE. Expected concierge fee in cash. Checks not accepted from new patients. Has no interest in collaborating with patients or their caregivers. Dr. Yager refused to discuss options - his way or the highway. Not a good choice for patients or family members who want to have a voice/advocate for themselves. Gave my very elderly mother with advanced dementia a breast exam, but didn't seem to notice that she was struggling to breathe while he was doing it.
