SNYDER WAS A SAVING GRACE LIFE LINE TO MYSELF WHEN IT CAME TO ME STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL HEALTH ( ANXIETY, PANIC ATTACKS ) ISSUES. Alana Snyder was my ER “doctor” when I was transported to Medical City Arlington by EMS after enduring a direct blow to my chest by a male. I’m a female with Sickle Cell Anemia Disease and had a Double Mastectomy so my chest is fragile. I was asked by a nurse my pain level and I reported 7-8 and informed that it was difficult to breathe. Snyder lacks moral character. She gave a single image xray (1 position) and said nothing is broken. also did an EKG and said “all clear”. Despite a nurse suggesting more treatment (CT Scan) Ms. Alana Snyder said it wasn’t necessary because the little testing she did do was “all clear”. Crying in pain I told her myself that my pain was severe and my chest was causing shortness of breath. She looked at me and said—It’s expected that I will have pain because my chest was aggravated; and to practice taking deep breaths.— despite me telling her it was very painful to breathe her educated decision was to discharge me WITHOUT PRESCRIBING ANY PAIN MEDICATION.

I was transported to the Medical City of Arlington ER by EMS after suffering a direct blow to my chest by an adult male. I'm female with Sickle Cell Anemia Disease. Have had a Double Mastectomy. My chest is fragile and my disease is known for severe pain. I am used to visiting ER's and receiving medical care for pain. This doctor was not only insensitive but lacked moral character. Her treatment included a single X-ray from the front and no other angles. Also being in severe pain she prescribed NO MEDICATION after discharging me not even an Asprin. I reported to her that I was having trouble breathing and that my pain was severe. I was transported to the same hospital less than 24 hours later by EMS for the same symptoms and received the proper care. They showed compassion gave me a proper X-ray of several angles, and also a CT scan which they concluded I suffered from a Sternal Contusion. Alana Snyder was cold! What Dr. discharges a patient in PAIN without pain meds? Please fire her!!
