My husband has been seeing this doctor regularly for the past 3 years. The doctor neglected to order a PSA screening on my husband for these past 3 years. It should be a standard of care for men with a family history of prostate cancer, age over 65, and history of smoking. It was ordered this year when WE called the office to see if it could be added to some labs. Normal expected results range from about 1-10, my husband's was more than 55!!! WHAT!!!?? He has now been diagnosed with ADVANCED PROSTATE CANCER WITH METASTASIS TO THE BONE by a radiation oncologist following a biopsy, and undergoing hormone therapy as well as radiation. In my opinion Dr Addesa Jr has FAILED to properly care for my husband by not ordering appropriate lab testing such as a PSA screen. This has been a life altering event that will not have a good outcome. I have no confidence in this physician.

Time to retire
He was completely annoyed the entire time like I bothered him by getting sick. He said I wasn’t “too bad” and didn’t prescribe an antibiotic. Later that evening, I had a fever and my entire face was swollen and the pain was even worse. MACC prescribed Rx and I looked for a different doctor the next day
