Incompetent doctor
I have seen Dr. Katz twice and I had a referral to get an MRI of my left knee to see if surgery was the best option to deal with my excruciating pain on my LEFT knee. When I showed up for the MRI, they had to cancel it due to the doctor instructing to do the MRI on the opposite knee. The only reason to see this doctor was because of his specialty, but he couldn't even have the decency and respect for my pain to fill out the proper paperwork and indicate which knee, which he had seen twice already. No apology, no attempt to make it better, nothing. He is a rude human being with the worst bedside manner. I do not recommend this individual who apparently hates what he does.

Amazing physician
Having achieved remission for several years now, I have been under the care of Dr. Katz for over three decades. His invaluable guidance and treatment have enabled me to maintain optimal functionality from a very early age, a contrast to the unfortunate circumstances faced by other children I knew with Juvenile Arthritis, many of whom relied on wheelchairs. The noteworthy aspect of Dr. Katz's approach lies in his down-to-earth demeanor when interacting with patients and his compassionate nature. It is evident that he genuinely cares, and I have never experienced any condescension in his communication, a stark departure from the demeanor of many other physicians. Dr. Katz has consistently engaged with me as a peer and collaborator in the journey to enhance my well-being. The depth of my gratitude for this remarkable doctor, whose dedication has progressively improved my health from childhood to adulthood, cannot be adequately expressed.

So rude
He doesn’t know how to treat patients. He wasted my time and money. He asked me to do a test, and in order to tell me the result of my test, he asked me to see him several times, and finally I realized that the doctor had the result of my test a few months ago, but he had not told me, and he was just wasting my time.

If you are ever referred to this office, run the other way! The office staff is absolutely unhelpful and Dr. Katz is completely inept at sending prescription refills to online pharmacies. We have never been seen on time even when we are the first appointment of the day. The doctor spends more time looking at his computer than examining the patient. More time has been wasted waiting for him and then having to follow up with his office and the online pharmacy just to make sure my daughter can get her prescription refilled in a timely manner. Because of his incapability to refill her prescription (every time we go), my daughter has missed doses of her systemic drug. We have absolutely had it with his office. Going above and beyond isn’t in their vocabulary. Why don’t they seem to care about their patients? It’s mind boggling. But we’re DONE!

Dr. Katz was recommended by our family physician. Dr. Katz is excellent. He doesn’t rush you through your appointment even if you have to wait a little bit. He is willing to order tests to cover whatever the patient needs. Dr. Katz is very thorough. He is highly recommended by other doctors. My family thinks he is excellent.

I've been lucky enough to have Dr. Katz since I got R.A at age four. He is kind, caring, attentive and knowledgeable in the individualistic nature of this condition. Couldn't have had a better doctor

Dr. Katz is a thorough doctor ordering blood work panels for his patients, but lacks a bedside manner. A doctor should never tell a patient that he/she is getting old. Very rude and unprofessional at the same time. Unhappy patient!

Dr. Katz has been our primary care doctor for many years and I am so appreciative of his attention to our family needs. He is always honest and thorough in his efforts to keep my wife and I healthy. I am so glad that we found him by accident in the 1980s.
