Excellent
Cataract surgery was successful. Entire process covering initial evaluation, choices, tests and financial arrangements was smooth and professional. Dr Smolyar explained well and listened carefully. He responded immediately to minor complications. Surgery at surgery center was on time and painless. Thorough follow up. No financial surprises.

Excellent surgeon
The front office staff are very nice and efficient. I found the waiting area to be a calm environment. Dr. Smolyer's assistants are very through. My surgery went very well; I had my follow-up appointment and my eyes are excellent. Everything is so bright and driving at night is no longer an issue. Dr. Smolyer is an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Smolyar is one of the most caring physicians i have found in years. He is a skilled cataract surgeon and he is focused on the patient's best possible outcome. Cataract Surgery by Dr. Smolyar
I have nothing but positive things to say about my cataract surgery with Dr. Smolyar. From the time I entered the office and was treated so well with his staff and assistants I knew this was going to be a good experience. Dr. Smolyar was very matter of fact and told things so it was easy to understand what the surgery entailed….a very straight forward exam. I am totally happy with my surgery. I would recommend him to my friends.

Cataract surgery
If cataract surgery can be a great experience I had a great experience at Southwest Florida Eye Care. The staff were very kind and very professional. Dr. Smolyar is a wonderful surgeon and has restored my vision. I would highly recommend him and this office.

By far one of the best Doctor of my lifetime
I cannot say enough about Dr. Smolyar.! I am so lucky to have found him! His instincts are excellent! He sees big picture and applies technology, real world knowledge, experience, and common sense to achieve the goal. I wush he was an Internist or general practioner so I could go to him for everything. One of the best doctors I have had in my life and I'm grateful to have walled through his door. This man has definitely found his calling.
