Dr. Alberto Gutierrez, DO

My husband and I have been going to FL. Medical since 2000 where we met Dr. John Tedesco, a superb dr. He retired and A. Guttierrez took his place. We have been his patients for over 8 years. My husband would come in so incredibly sick and in pain and all he would say was 'Well, your numbers look great.' The final straw was when my husband had an appt. in March. Dr. went on vacation and husband was not contacted to reschedule, so he made the trip to the office. The girls said they had called but no record on his phone of them ever calling and they gave him an appt. at the end of May. He pressed the issue because this has happened before and prescriptions were not called in or to the wrong place. He even got a call the day before the appt. reminding him of this 'cancelled' appt. Yesterday we got a letter cancelling my husband from his services because husband 'was rude and disrespectful to him' and staff. He was out of country on vacation?!? If you need help, he's not the one.

Dr. Gutierrez has been my doctor for about 10 months now. He is knowledgeable, friendly, very thorough, and listens well to any and all health concerns. I would highly recommend him. He is an excellent Primary Provider

Very knowledgeable and very responsive if you need to contact him. Appointments are well scheduled and no long waits. Friendly staff.

Orders proceedures but never follows insurance companies request. Weeks and weeks to get forms filled out for insurance approvals. Don't return callls and hide behind a call center so unless you walk in to talk to them good luck. They create more strees on thier patients and don't care that they do. Horrible service.

Dr. G is an outstanding doctor. He treats my medical issues very professionally, he’s personable, honest and thorough. He’s my favorite physician I’ve ever had.

Dr. Gutierrez feels like a friend and makes you feel comfortable the moment he comes into the room. Approachable, easy to talk to, listens to your concerns, and eases any anxiety with care and kindness. I have referred people to him and will continue to do so. He is a great physician!

Dr Gutierrez is a kind, caring individual. He makes you feel comfortable and listens to what you have to say, and only comments when you are done speaking. It is easy to get an appointment with him and he is proactive by advising what is needed before you see him

As a Doctor of Osteopathy, Dr. Gutierrez is more "whole body" orientated than most MDs. He is open to my holistic, natural approach to treatment. He also has additional resources that MD's don't, like an OTC cream for bruising (when on blood thinner) and a "fold and hold" technique for instant relief of muscle pain, as well as exercises to relieve the source of the muscle pain, instead of just prescribing painkillers. He is a very good communicator and is so patient to explain all my questions. He is also a great encourager. He cheers me on like no other doctor I have ever had. I met another member of Dr. G's fan club in the elevator after my visit. He agrees that Dr. G. is the best. He told me he comes all the way from Lakeland (45 miles away) to see him!

This Dr and I were great until he decided to remove me from his services because I complained about his rude ghetto fabulous receptionists. I notice if u complain about the very bad service or attitudes u get from these medical receptionists, they are quick to want to cut u off even though it's the fault of the receptionists as they now have the excuse that they are "OVERWORKED" due to the pandemic which is the "GO TO" excuse for daily poor customer service. I had complained to this DR about 2 of his 3 receptionists almost 2 years ago and he said he was aware of that happening but he couldn't do anything about it so i let it slide cause I wanted to stay with him but this last time was too much disrespect. Funny thing is that it's just not his receptionists that are rude and condescending, it's the rep that works in billing as well for all of the Florida Medical Clinic Dr's Offices. He is knowledgeable, resourceful and detailed. He is easy to talk to and explains direction next steps clearly. Highly recommend Dr. Gutierrez.

Dr. G is the best he is compassionate and understanding. He explains everything in detail and wants to make sure you are ok with everything. Is staff is great second to none.
