Truly Exceptional – Patient, Caring, and Attentive
Even though my son didn’t like it at all, the doctor was playful and engaging with him throughout the visit. I only had to hold him down for the doctor to try and get a look at his dilation, even though it was unsuccessful. She stayed calm, patient, and understanding. She really knows how to make parents feel comfortable, and despite my son’s resistance, she handled everything with care and compassion.

An answered prayer!
We have been coming to Dr. Decanini for years now after switching to her following our first appointment with a different eye doctor. As a mom, you want to be able to trust what your (kids’) doctor says. I wasn’t comfortable with the guidance coming from our first, so I looked for a second opinion. Dr. Decanini has felt trustworthy from the start. It turns out my son needed eye surgery, which Dr. Decanini performed, after making us feel so comfortable with the whole process. She is an awesome family eye doctor.

Wonderful with kids!
Dr. Decanini is compassionate and my daughter loves her and her “bag of toys”. She is knowledgeable but approachable and my nervous two year old is very comfortable in her care.

Great, caring doctor!
My 5 year old daughter is on the spectrum and can have difficulty with exams but Dr. Decanini makes the exam so fun my daughter thinks she is simply playing. Dr. Decanini is very knowledgeable and caring. Highly recommend!

Friendly and SO GOOD with my baby!
I was so impressed with all of the tricks, songs, games the staff used in order to complete the various eye tests on my 1 year old. He was completely relaxed, unphased, and gained trust quickly with the staff when he would normally have 'stranger danger.' I was in awe of the calm, friendly atmosphere and staff from start to finish. My 1 year old had a great experience and thought he was just there to play games! The only strange part was the music choice in the waiting area which seemed mature for most pediatric families.

Very personal and professional
I tried calling to get an appointment it was taking long times to get someone on the phone. I had the day off so I decided to go in. Finally drove to the building and they could actually get me in same day, which was fantastic but wasn’t expecting that. During my visit with her, she wanted to sharpen up my vision prescription. AND, it was the same day. That’s going above and over the moon with excitement! Her team is just so kind, delightful to talk to, never rushing, never feeling like your just an appointment. You really get, your experience with them.
