Dr. Alejandro Miranda-Sousa, MD

I saw a PA. I have not seen Dr. Sousa on my last 3 visits. I have declined biopsy of my small nodule on the prostate and have had 6 month PSA tests and 3 MRI's. The nodule has not changed. The PA (4-28-25) was visibly not happy that I was declining the recommendation for a biopsy. He did NOT provide any of the counseling that is checked off on my patient portal. The portal is a joke. It only has my today's visit. I was hoping to document a history since the discovery of this nodule.The facility is sparkling - pristine. Parking is inadequate. My experiences up to today have been what one would expect from a PA. Today the PA and I clashed a bit. My nodule has a high probablilty of being cancer given my age. My understanding is that most prostate cancers are slow growing and most men die with them, not of them. I did not receive the medical information I should have today. The facility gives the impression that it is a 'mill', albeit a pristine one.

Dr Sousa, Was professional and took the time to explain all procedures and answer any questions .I felt very comfortable, talking with him and understanding what my options were. I would definitely recommend him.

New PA was very friendly and took the time to talk to us. We had a little wait time but that is understood with so many people trying to see someone at the practice.

In and I out in 45 minutes. Didn’t see the Dr, was examined by another trained professional. My visit was an annual check-up, this is OK.

It is frustrating to expect to see your doctor and then be seen by a Physician Assistant instead, especially if you were charged the same amount. I feel upset, and I didn't get the care that I was expecting.

I was scheduled for a procedure I never had before and was very nervous about the test and the possible side-effects. Dr. Miranda-Sousa put me at ease before, during and certainly after by explaining in detail the results of the test.

Waiting room is tight and jammed. It’s a busy place because it is recognized that the professional help is top quality.

This place is very unpleasant, I went to the office with my husband. We waited an hour in the room so that nothing but an assistant looked at us instead of the doctor, and we saw Kim that day. She was very unprofessional, she didn't explain anything to us how to treat my husband's cancer and besides that I was everyone was sick coughing instead of being at home the lady who treated us in front of us They were sick covered and coughing with the flu instead of being at home what a bad practice I'm really disappointed we're going to change doctors

All of his PAs are caring as well.

I am always treated especially well by everyone when I come to an appointment. Smiles and laughter are extra treats.
