Frustrating Experience
Was sent here by my primary care doctor; took three months before an appt was available, and when there was one and I came, there was confusion and frustration from the attending doctor (Aleksandr) as to why I was there. Explained my concerns and what I had been told by my PCP, but was essentially told there was nothing they could do for me and I should go back to my PCP. This would be disappointing but fine if it was handled with care or respect, and maybe he was just having an off day, but when I tried to explain concerns that had arisen since my last PCP appt— dizziness and shortness of breath (which led to me collapsing and calling an ambulance from the subway last week)— I was told it was “post sick fatigue” and that I just needed to go back to my PCP and leave his office. He slammed the door on the way out. Overall, felt dismissed and like I wasn’t listened to. Again, I see he has decades of experience, so maybe it was an off day, but I would never return or recommend him.
