Dr. Alex Gonzales, MD

If was offered this doctor by my Insurance Company ....I NEVER saw the Docter himself , ever !!!! I had a NP , Virginia ...she was okay , but her staff was terrible . After I had been to the hospital with Covid , the hospital wanted me to make an appointment with my Doctor . I called Dr. Gonzales 's office for an appointment , recommended by the Hospital. After I had to leave a voicemail , nobody called me back . I called for 4 days ...nobody called me back . I finally called my Insurance , they were not happy and gave me a new Doctor .

I have been a patient of Dr Gonzales for over 15 years. He has taken excellent care of myself and my family.

Staff not friendly. Nice office building. He's been my primary for 2.5 years. My average wait time is 60-90 minutes for scheduled appmts. They appear to overbook. They mostly do not return phone messages. They referred me to an out of network x-ray facility. After running around wasting my time, they took 5 days to get the proper authorization. The Doctor is just Ok.... nothing special and not worth putting up with the other issues.

Too concerned about how many patients he can see in a day to (increase his bottom line) instead of providing quality care. Avoid!!

Dr. Gonzales seemed like a good Dr. Took his time and seemed caring. One prescription called in to pharmacy was incorrect (poss. a miscommunication) but was unable to reach office staff to correct. Office staff difficult to deal with; on hold for 23 minutes plus each time I called. Was told that they would call me back; never did. Office hours on the answering machine are incorrect. During the hours they were scheduled to be there, they were not. Ans. service said "they should be in"
