I had appt. With Dr. Bodman and she didn't show up for it. I even received a confirmation text for my appointment confirming I'd be there. Maybe they have too many offices to cover and can't keep track of which one they should be at. It was 22 degrees the morning of my appointment. I have to take 2 buses there and 2 to get back home. My appt. was for 1pm and yet no one called to tell me she was only going to be in S. Austin this day. I made this appointment 3 months ago with the Dr. in the room with me at the time. How do you not show up or at least call to say she wouldn't be there? There's no way I would let her do an 8hr surgery when she can't remember where her appts. are. Luckily I have another Dr. to call. One that my primary Dr. recommended. Seriously you should rethink having so many offices to go to seeing as you can't remember them.

Absolutely the best
I first met Dr Bodman in the emergency department. I was partially paralyzed and so scared. She came in the room and immediately made us all feel more at ease, and feel like we were in competent hands. Emergency surgery was performed. The partially severed spinal cord from Dr McCarty was repaired. Long story short, I am able to walk. Dr Bodman and all of her “team”, are the best.

Exceptional Doctor and Staff!
I first saw Dr Bodman in June 2021 for neck arthritis pain. At that time she recommended pain management instead of surgery, which I agreed with. In late 2022 I saw her again because at that point the pain management had ceased to help me. After updated MRI and review, she recommended surgery to fuse 3 vertebrae and to remove a cyst that was a new issue. My experience with Dr Bodman's pre-op, surgery and all post-op visits have been outstanding. She is never in a hurry and will explain her diagnosis, surgical procedures and follow-up visits in detail and in a manner anyone will understand. I feel extremely fortunate to have found her for my neck surgery. Seven weeks after my surgery, knowing I still have several months of full recovery, I'm confident of Dr Bodman's and her staff to get me to a best-outcome result. BTW, she has a good sense of humor and, even when scolding me for going up a ladder to check my attic, she was firm but understanding.

I met Dr. Bodman because I had a bad car accident 12/18/20, in which my car was totalled and I had two crushed upper spinal vertebrae. She came to my bedside in the St. David's Trauma ICU and had great bedside manner, a human to human approach! Her follow up visits in her office were pleasant and respectful and helpful. I am fully recovered, and at 75 yrs of age at the time of the accident, I felt greatly cared about, and well taken-care of.

My husband had a herniated disc causing excruciating pain so we saw Dr. Bodman. She was wonderful - incredibly knowledgeable, kind and thorough, talking us through his options and expectations and very patiently and honestly answering my million questions. Really great bedside manner and conservative approach to surgery. She referred him to a pain management doctor and physical therapy, and he ended up not needing surgery after all.
