I would highly recommend Dr. Alexander Austin, MD, who works in Sarasota, FL as a Family Medicine Physician! I really like that besides being a conventional doctor, he is also very holistic in his practice and understands functional medicine. In addition to a great bedside manner, he is a very patient person and can really listen to a patient without judgement.Dr. Austin is knowledgeable, kind, caring, and personable. I believe that he is one of the best doctors I have met in my life.

What really impressed me about Dr Austin was that he LOOKED at me instead of the computer screen and listened to me explain my symptoms with interest and understanding. I would highly recommend him as a caring compassionate family physician.

On my first visit Dr. Austin came in and asked me to tell him about myself. This is the first time a doctor ever asked me and he has a calming manner. I felt at ease during my visit and never had such a helpful doctor.

Dr. Austin is always warm and kind. He was very knowledgeable about my odd ailments after a bad fall which involved my hand and my toe. We discussed hyperthyroidism and, again, his knowledge of that and SCA1 surprised and comforted me.

Great guy. The one thing I loved about Dr Austin is he wants to get to know you as a person. He doesn’t try to rush you out of his office and just push you some pills. He listens to all your concerns and will try to cover each step that’s needed to accomplish the task at hand. Highly recommend this Dr

My Dr was out of town, so Dr Austin was suggested. I saw him and it was the best Dr visit I’ve had! He was very kind, caring and helpful. He listened to all of my concerns and put me at ease! I would like to have him for my Primary Dr in the very near future...

Excellent Doctor, he never rushes you, I have never waited for more than 5 minutes, he keeps to his schedule, very thorough and very responsive. Additionally, his staff nurse-tech Keith is very patient and is professional.

Since I have been seeing Dr. Austin my knee pain is at a 0 now. It used to be a 10. He put me on a great plan for my health and wellness. Keith is also great! He knows his job and he always makes me laugh. They are a great team! This is my second visit and for the record I am telling everyone I can about him. I'm trying to get him some new referrals as well. I give Dr. Austin a 10. Way to go Intercoastal Medicine! #Austin
