Avoid! Smug Arrogant Cardiologist
Dr Delveccio is smug and arrogant with no respect for personal needs and preferences.He ‘Banged ‘my hospital room door shut raising his voice because he was rushing to a procedure and I wanted to try an Alternate approach; and suggested I leave. This scared and upset me and exacerbated my condition with my heart racing out of control. I have reported him to the hospital and posting here.

The Best
My mother was a patient of Dr. Delvecchio for 7+ years. My mother was recently in the hospital for 3 months -has since passed-the doctor saw her daily, even on his off days. He helped make a horrific situation a bit more bearable-along with the staff at Greenwich Hospital-with his caring and compassionate nature. I am grateful that we had him for my mother's care. Alex Delvecchio is a gem of a doctor and human being.

Dr. Delvecchio always spends the amount of time needed for my husband to understand what is wrong and what he needs to do.. My husband is a bit stubborn when it comes to following up with medical advice. Dr. Delvecchio is a prince and an amazing MD. I would recommend him to anyone needing a kind, understanding, knowledgeable cardiologist. We are lucky to have him.

Had appointment for my Mom today. Dr. Delvecchio has great bedside manner explains everything to you spends more than enough time with you. Friendly knowledgeable. Would recommend him very highly.
