Stay away from him
He waited about 7 weeks to return my calls (left at least 3 with receptionist). When he finally did he jumped down my throat for not taking the medication he prescribed. I tried several times to tell him they made me feel worse but he kept interrupting me and saying he couldn't treat a patient that didn't take the medication he prescribed. I kept telling him they were making he feel much worse but he kept repeating he couldn't treat a patient that didn't take the medication he prescribed. I told him I left messages for him but he didn't return my calls. He ignored me. My next psychiatrist found that he put in my records that I was bipolar. This was never even discussed at my appointments and I'm not bipolar and have never been diagnosed with that. I wouldn't take an animal to him.

Dr. Dever misdiagnosed and overmedicated me, and this is based on evaluation by Johns Hopkins University. I later discovered he has/had an opiod addiction. RUN!
