After many years of being my primary physician, Dr. Alexander Fishberg showed his true colors when I needed him most. Following a heart attack and subsequent open-heart bypass surgery, not once did he call to check on me—not during my hospital stay, nor after I was discharged in a severely weakened state. I attempted to contact his office for a simple follow-up via phone or telehealth, only to be coldly told that I would have to physically come into the office—45 minutes away—despite my condition.This lack of compassion reminded me of a moment from my last visit, when I asked why we couldn't occasionally consult via phone or video. His answer? “Because I only get paid when patients come in person.” That says it all. The office is really great. But the only thing that is getting me is trying to call and no one calls back do to having issues with the phone service and when I finally do get through they tell me they never received my phone messages that were left.

My mom, who’s in her 70’s, had a fractured toe. So, I had to take her to Advant Health Centra care in Winter Park late in the evening. Dr. Fishberg was thorough in his diagnosis and explaining of my mom’s issue and possible solution. He was knowledgeable, friendly and empathetic. Thank you!

Saw him at urgent care. He showed up to work late. Never even acknowledged his staff upon entering & they did not even know where he was when I arrived. He only saw me for a few minutes. He disregarded my symptoms & told me one diagnosis but put another on discharge paper.

If I could leave a 0 rating I would. The worse experience I had with a medical provider. I ran into Dr. Fishberg for an urgent care consult and he did not even look at the affected area and ignored my symptoms and just asked me to go see my doctor during the week.
