Thorough and cares
Dr. Harmatz is so personable and has the best bedside manner that I have ever seen. He explains your conditions and treatments thoroughly and technically to you. He recommends follow ups to other doctors if need be and even has his staff make the appointment for you. I highly recommend Dr. Harmatz for your GI specialist

Good doctor, pleasant, listens and explains your condition and treatment plans satisfactory. However, good luck in getting and relying on your scheduled appointment without being cancelled. Within a 6 month period, after my initial appointment with him, I was cancelled and rescheduled 2 times, and trying to reach his office by telephone is absolutely impossible. You can NEVER get to live person without leaving messages, extremely annoying. When I finally got to see him with a scheduled appointment I complained about his staff protocols and his response was, "Oh well, that's the way it is nowadays, and not much I can do about it!" That was enough for me to seek a new Gastroenoglist.
