Dr. Alexander Kessler, MD

I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kessler. He is truly the most sincere, caring, attentive and committed doctor i have ever had treat me. He is such a blessing!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr Kessler for various infections for several years. He is very caring and treats his patients with kindness and respect. I was referred to him by another doctor who said, “he is one of the smartest doctors I know”. I would recommend him to anyone.

I met Dr. Kessler when he was caring for one of my grandmothers. Eventually, he also starting seeing my other elderly grandmother and now my mom sees him as a patient. He is the most genuine, humble, kind and caring doctor I've ever met. From the soft way he would speak to my grandmother to how he would help her put her sweater back on after an exam, I've never witnessed another doctor like him. You will wait because he will never rush an appointment and every patient is going to get his very best. You are very fortunate if he is your physician.

He actually sits down eye level and talks to you, not at you. Best office, best staff, ever.

You will wait, but he is through, caring, knowledgeable, has an incredible memory, and knows his field. He doesn't waste time, but takes the time needed with each patient to ensure everything is on the right track. He does this while not adding extra anxiety by acting like he is rushing or making you feel rushed. I won't use any Medical Associates of North Georgia Office anymore because they all seem to be horribly run. Dr Kessler is the exception. His office is a little hit and miss, but workable.

Dr. Kessler is one of the best doctors I have ever met and allowed to care for me. I'm a retired nurse of 35 years and I have worked with hundreds of doctors and saw how they care and treat people and their patients, he by far is the best. He's compassionate, the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen, he takes his time with you and will answer all and any of your questions. Your wait my be a longer than you think, but he's well worth it. He will refer you to a specialist if you require one and will cover all your health needs. He's the best. I regularly get asked who do you go to and why and he's my reply. My husband and I have seen Dr. Kessler for 8 years plus and his care is consistent. I use the portal for questions, medication refill and referrals... this is the best form of communication for his office and getting him.

Worth the wait for top-notch care: I waited a long time (90 minutes) in the waiting room for my appointment and almost left before the appointment started, but I stayed because I read all of the incredible reviews about Dr. Kessler. He is one of the best doctors that I have ever seen. He listened to me. He clearly explained answers to my questions. He provided individual, caring, attentive care. Many times in doctor's offices I am well aware that I am one of a number of patients, and this can lead me at times to feel dismissed and faceless. Not so with this doctor. I am so grateful that my primary care doctor recommended him. Dr. Kessler's office is busy and sometimes not always able to answer the phone right away, because this is a private practice with an excellent doctor who puts your health at the top of his priority list.

Mast compassionate Dr I have ever encountered. One who truly listens and makes you feel heard. Truly knowledgable and willing to work with you . Always given all the time I need without feeling rushed. You may need to wait to be seen but well worth it.

He is a good doctor but they do NOT return phone calls even when you leave an urgent message. Beyond frustrating and I shouldn't have to take myself to the ER when my doctor would do if they would just return a call.

Had a very pleasant experience throughout, including the excitement of running out of paper for the EKG machine :D

Dr Kessler is a very compassionate, talented and gifted doctor however, his receptionist leaves much to be desired. She is rude, does not return calls and barely looks at your face other than to hand you your receipt after paying for your service. She stares at her computer screen most of the time. If that doesn’t bother you and you have OVER AN HOUR (no exaggeration) to wait EVERY time you schedule an appointment, you will be happy here.

Dr. Kessler is one of the most compassionate doctors we have ever met! He is brilliant and has excellent bedside manner. We highly recommend him.

I have gone to Dr. Kessler for years. He is one of a kind. So very patient and understanding. He has the absolute, best bedside manner. Very informed, takes his time talking to you...just the Best doctor I have ever been to.

Absolutely the best physician I have ever had, Wish I had him as a general physician many years ago

I am a senior with an auto immune disease and I consider myself so lucky to have found Dr. Kessler to be my primary care physician. Dr. Kessler also has his specialty in infectious diseases, and recently the covid-19 virus has caused me a great deal of anxiety. Dr. Kessler is so very understanding and takes great care and time to explain in great detail what I can do to protect myself every day. He is a wealth of knowledge about so many topics and his compassion is evident in every visit.

Dr. Kessler has been my primary care doctor for eleven years. He sets the standard bar for all physicians.He is thorough, extremely patient and takes the time to make sure that patients understand the diagnosis, treatment and follow up.

My visit with Dr. Alexander Kessler and the Medical Care of Georgia team has always been very good. Dr. Kessler is very caring and honest person.

Great doctor

I have been going to Dr. Kessler and mostly Heather Hardison. She is very proficient if I am just going for healthy visits and medications. I love them. If I have a REAL MEDICAL problem, I couldn't do better than Dr. Kessler and he is THE DOCTOR and doesn't have "other". It is either HIM or Heather. I really like that. I haven't seen him other than in the hall in years and I am very healthy...but he is always there and he has Heather who has seen me regularly for years. A REAL DOCTOR in this time and age.
