Exact opposite experience with Dr. Mason and his colleagues during the treatment of my mother. She went in for the removal of a non-cancerous tumor on her spine. While he was operating, he took it upon himself to correct a curvature on the upper part of her back. This caused her great pain. They then rushed to get her out of the hospital without concern. She never was able to walk again after that after she developed blood clots from being non-ambulatory after the operation.

Excellent Provider I will be having Surgery in March and I know several of his past patients who had extremely good results. I would highly recommend if you have any doubts about your current Nuero doc. See Alexander Mason and he will clear up any questions about your condition. Steve Newhausen

Dr. Mason is an amazing physician....he is extremely concerned for the patient and takes a conservative approach to any surgery......i recommend him highly.......with his guidance and care, i did not have to be operated on.....he recommended physical therapy and that took most of the pain away from a level 10 to a level 1.......

Dr. Mason is patient first. He won't do surgery until more conservative measures have proven ineffective. He did my TLIF at L5-S1. Competent post-op care, slowly advancing activity limits, and authoritative guidance on how to successfully rehab have given me a strong back, no more pain, a return to my normal activities, and enormous confidence in Dr. Mason. This guy takes his job VERY seriously. That?s the kind of surgeon you want cleaning up bony impingement on your spinal cord!

Dr Mason is an amazing neurosurgeon that I would highly recommend to everyone with brain and/or neck disorders. He is very thorough, thoughtful and caring. He takes time with his patients to make sure they are comfortable and understand the plan of care. He is very passionate about what he does and it shows. He's the only physician I trust to perform the brain surgery that I need and I'm honored to have him as part of my medical treatment team. Thank you for all you do!
