Amazing Dr.
I want to express my sincere appreciation for the promptness and professional care I have always received from Dr. Morf. He truly cares for his patients. I have never left his office without a proper plan of care. He is an excellent physician and Santa Barbara is blessed to have him! Thank you Dr. Morf!

Best Dr. I have had
I see people complaining about a concierge fee, which is unfair to leave a bad review because of a personal issue with the fee.. I personally LIKE paying a fee because I am able to have an incredible experience. I wait in no line when I go in, Dr Morf replies back with my results with insightful commentary within hours or days... He is super insightful, personable and knows when to refer somebody else to get you specific help. He is the Chief of Staff currently at Cottage hospital and carries a lot of respect. Get an appointment if you can.

The phone call I had was super snooty. This doc charges his patients $600 a year fee just to get an appointment. Extremely off putting.

Due to Covid I scheduled a phone visit with Dr. Alex Morf, my primary care physician. He was prompt with his return phone call, listened to my concerns and ably addressed my situation. I would highy recommend Dr. Morf to anyone in need of a caring primary care physician.

I am new to Santa Barbara and was lucky to meet someone who recommended Dr Morf. After my first visit with my list short "list" of issues, he was extremely patient and took detailed notes. He sent me to several specialists after finding some areas of concern. This resulted in confirming a melanoma in an area Dr Morf was concerned about. Additionally he recommended some lifestyle changes, sent me for an xray which confirmed 2 disc pinching my spinal cord. I'm now on a diet he recommended and losing weight. I received five different follow ups from Dr Morf explaining my test results and his recommendations in a very timely manner. I could not be happier with the level of care I've gotten from Dr Morf.

Dr. Morf has been our doctor for about 3 years. We moved from San Diego and it was not easy to find a doctor. Finally after many calls we discovered Dr. Alex Morf. He is kind, knowledgeable and truly listens in everyway. We spend an extra 200 dollars a year so that if anything is going on with your health he calls within a few hours (even during the pandemic). I always feel better just hearing his voice. Both Mollie and Angie are also efficient and supportive. We highly recommend Dr. Morf and his staff.

as a 71 year old primary care physician, who recently moved to Santa Barbara, after 40+ years of practicing in mountain town near Yosemite, i admittedly have VERY exacting standards for health care for my patients and myself and my wife. i was a stranger here, after trusting my family, patients, and self to exemplary colleagues for nearly half a century. i don't know what wonderful wind brought us to Alex's door, but he has met and EXCEEDED all of my hopes and expectations as a physician. This young man is well-educated, continuously current on the newest evidence-based medicine. when the door closes behind him as he enters the exam room we feel like we are the only patients he will see that day. always interested, inquisitive, thinking, compassionate, scientific... we never feel rushed, never leave uneducated, always feel CARED for. He has brought and trained staff who share his commitment to excellence, such that the clinical experience is seamless from reception to discharge.

Dr Morph was my primary care provider a couple of years ago. I went in to see him for a problem I was having and he was really condescending to me. He refused to refer me to a specialist when I asked and only assessed my problem for about 1 second before proceeding to misdiagnose me and prescribe a medicine that ended up exacerbating my issue. At the follow up appointment I pointed this info out to him and he STILL would not refer me. I ended up having to switch primary care providers. Since then I have found a great doctor in town that solved my problem within weeks. Seeing all of these positive reviews certainly makes me feel like I was treated unfairly, I would not see this doctor again.

Dr Morff took care of my husband during the last few years of his life. He understood his cardiac problems and at the end of is life with cancer treated him with kindness, respect and returned phone call as needed. I would highly recommend him.

This Dr. Was recommended to husband. He is recuperating from a stroke, and needed a pre-op exam for a surgical procedure. He was treated with total lack of respect for an elderly colleague by the staff. When He questioned what the charge would be for a pre-op, one time visit, the staff member must have said something to Dr. Morf because the doctor came into to exam room, cursed at my husband, shoutiing that he did not need his F——ING money and kicked him out of the office!!! Do not use him!

Dr Morf is methodical and kind, very knowledgeable and also knows how to explain things, making drawings so we can understand. I have recommended him to female and male friends and relatives and they all rave about him. He is young, so I also looked for someone who would be with us long term. And he is taking patients.

Dr. Morf was my mother's doctor the last year of her life. He was very helpful and always returned my many calls quickly. It was a very difficult time and we were lucky to have him as her doctor. I think the $250 administration fee is well worth it when you get a doctor like him.

In 2015 Dr. Morf became our doctor. We were very pleased with his service. However, on 1/1/17 Santa Barbara Internal Medicine Group switched to a concierge plan. OUT OF POCKET, WE MUST PAY UP FRONT $250 EACH / $400 PER COUPLE. That pays for: filling out forms, pre-operative evaluations, prior-authorizations for meds, etc. For $400, you get same day appts., more face to face time, more phone/electronic time with him. As SENIORS on Medicare & Blue Cross, we cannot afford or recommend his group.
