Alex is the worst "doctor" I have ever experienced dealing with, and I have dealt some bad doctors. I would like him to tell me why did he pressure my wife into chemo before she was ready? We were still researching these chemicals, but he didn't care, he forced my wife into treatment without caring about our concerns at all. 6 months later, after everything went haywire, he finished my wife off with the worse pain management anyone has ever seen. He should be nowhere near cancer patients. He only cares about the money he makes. The nurses at St. Mary's all can't stand him too. He is mean and has zero empathy. Oh, and he lies. He lies a lot.

Very likely! Hi,
Well, I was introduced to Dr. Ostrovsky in 2009. I was being treated for Breast Cancer. My first impression of him is his knowledge. He also has a nice sense of humor. Which allows you to feel comfortable & confident during your treatment journey.

Wouldn't Recommend
Horrible experience. This man couldn't get me out of his office fast enough. No medical history review. No medication review, until he called me later. Didn't do a physical exam. Just, oh you have anemia from heavy periods. Last time I checked I didn't have heavy periods. I have a rash for 2 months that's worse at times! Had to see another hematologist who is looking at the bigger picture, who reviewed symptoms and history. Staring at the one blood test on his screen and only saying 'I'm hematology' is not good patient care.
