Dr. Alexander Owens, DO

I was seeking a new doctor, and used Dr Owens. I don't have a complaint with the doctor, but the corporate office structure is NOT in the patient's favor. They appear to nickle and dime charges, breaking the services into as many codes as possible to bill the patient and insurance as much as possible. I went in for a well-being exam, which was to be free, and ended up having them NOT perform it on the first visit, and then after the blood work came in performed the wellness exam THEN. Result? My "free" annual exam ended up costing me $80 (two $40 co-pays) because of the way they handled it and the excess codes used. Just mentioning a slightly high cholesterol level to this new doctor at the wellness exam (barely breaks out of normal) cost me a $40 co-pay as it was coded as a "pre-existing condition" and a "consultation". So please, if you use them, BEWARE, and know ahead of time what they will charge you, even in a free annual exam.

I have been a patient of his for over 14 years. What a wonderful experience He has gone above and beyond any physician I have had seen Very caring for the health of his patients listens to questions and gives answers that you can understand. The fact that he is a DO places him in a top notch category I recommend him all the time His broad range of health care is superior And his staff is very warm and inviting This I feel makes them a winning team Keep up the great job

He’s the best doctor I’ve ever had! I’ve seen him for like 16 years and my family and friends all see him as well. Great doctor with a lot of knowledge and very caring and compassionate .Always gives you time to explain your issues and tries his very best to help you. Alicia his front desk is a superstar . She’s always quick to help . If you want a great doctor with great service and kindness this is your man...can’t say enough kind words to describe him;)

After changing my residence and fretting for nearly a year about giving up my previous doctor and finding one close to home, I really made a good choice with Dr Owens. Dr Owens is personable, thorough, and sincerely interested in his new patient.

I have been going to Dr. Owens for almost 5 years for everything from routine physicals and neck afjestments to stitches and treatment for psoriasis. He is very professional, but also very friendly. He is thorough, caring and tries to treat without medicine if possible. I highly recommend Dr. Owens!
