Large freckle in my eye that could have been cance
I was sent to Dr. Talalight by my eye Doctor Ramsey. I could not have been so impressed by both. I had laser surgery 15 years ago and had started having vision problems. My eye doctor had seen a freckle in my eye that was very big. To make sure it wasn’t cancerous he referred me to Dr. T. He is such a professional and very knowledgeable as he should be. I was not scared and he was so nice. I did not have cancer and I am so blessed.

I was referred to Dr. Talalight by my regular Eye Dr. While I was not happy seeing yet another Dr I knew the urgency. I had a bad experience with another Retina Specialist and had my mind set that this too would be bad I definitely had to change that opinion quickly. He explained everything until I understood. He answered all my questions and let me explain what was happening with my eyes. I found that I had diabetic retinopathy and also cataracts. The office staff was friendly. I'm thankful that this experience was so good. I'm now eager to get the treatment plan going.

Great Retinologist
I was taking supplements which I learned was not helping my retina problem. Took time to help me understand what to avoid and how I can preserve vision and eye health

Dr. Alexander Talalight is a best ophthalmologist , especially in retina diseases. I knew him when my wife had a retinal detachment in 2012. Recently, I also received prophylactic laser retinopexy procedure, performed by him. I got deep impression by his professional knowledge and procedure ability as well as detailed clinical note. He always patiently listen and answers questions before or post procedures. His office is a warm environment. Waiting time was about 10-20 min. Everyone, including his assistants and office staff work seriously and friendly to help every patient. I am luck to meet Dr Talalight and also like to recommend him to people looking for best ophthalmologist in north Alabama.

There is a special place in heaven for Dr. Talalight. I visited an optometrist at Lenscrafters for an annual eye exam to get glasses. This was on Black Friday a few years ago. The optometrist suspected retinal detachment, so she referred me to Dr. Talalight. Since it was Black Friday, his office was closed. Optometrist said he could see me first thing Monday morning. Only a few minutes after leaving the optometrist office, I got a call directly from Dr. Talalight to meet him at his clinic on that same afternoon and that I didn't have to wait til Monday. He opened his clinic that holiday to check if I had retinal detachment. I will always appreciate that he drove all the way on a holiday, a day his office was closed, to check on my vision health. In addition to his dedication, he is very kind and confident in his practice.

Have seen Dr. Talalight for years and find him to be an exceptionally caring, courteous, trustworthy and informative professional. Very thorough examinations and eye photography are carefully recorded and follow-up is consistent. Staff are also cordial and professional and provide an excellent standard of care. Dr. Talalight and staff inspire confidence that the level of care is high and will remain so consistently through time. Waiting times do vary (By necessity), but are generally very good.

very good doctor, but wait time is 30 mins to over an hour and even when your called back you'll wait again. people are lined up sitting on a bench waiting for a room to open. once, your in a room you will wait some more. So be prepared to hurry up and wait. still I highly recommend. just take a good book with you.
